This is a dark, dull brown, not oil rubbed bronze.
The color is a cheap, dull, brown paint. Will not match other pieces which are actually oil rubbed bronze in color.

Very attractive, easy to install, and will stay put forever.
It perfectly matches the other Moen oiled bronze fixtures in our new house. The master bath has a double sink with only one hand towel ring, so I needed a second one by the second sink. I looked at my local home improvement mega store and they wanted a lot more for a name brand towel ring. I like that it does not bang into the wall when I pull the towel off like the one the builder installed.
Most wall mounted items I have installed use a back plate that attaches to the wall. I then have to attach the item to the back plate by tightening a tiny set screw that is pointy on one end using a tiny screw driver. Very frustrating and not very reliable. This one has a back plate with a steel rod that you slide the towel ring on to. The rod has a flat bottom and a hex-key screw that one can torque the carp out of. Very sturdy. After I located a stud using my StudPop and screwed the back plate to the stud, this bad boy will stay put forever.

Superior sheetrock wall-mounting system
Apart from the nice appearance, I want to add a note about the mundane but essential wall-mounting system Moen has designed for this product. If you are mounting this towel ring into sheetrock (i.e. instead of into a wooden stud), you will like the plastic-hole insert provided by Moen. After you drill into the sheetrock, you collapse the wings of the plastic insert, gently tap the insert into the hole, and then use a small "activator" (also included) to "activate" the insert's wings that will brace against the sheetrock inside the hole. I know that sounds complicated, but it really isn't if you follow the very simple instructions. When you activate the insert's bracing wings, there is a satisfying click to let you know the hole insert is ready to receive the screw that holds the towel ring onto the wall. It is a much more secure, long-lasting, and solid sheetrock-mounting solution than you will find in similarly priced-- or even more expensive--products such as, say, those manufactured by Design House.

Solid, good quality
I really like this compared to the builder grade towel holder I replaced. The metal on this is so heavy and it feels like a real quality fixture. I love the design and it matches all of the other brushed nickel fixtures in the bathroom. I like how far it comes out of the wall too. I can't say anything negative about this. I would recommend.

Good quality - sturdy mounting design
I purchased several Moen fixtures for a new bathroom: towel bars, hooks, towel ring, etc. all in the oil rubbed bronze finish to match other fixtures. These are the first Moen towel bars and related items I have purchased and installed. Previous experience with other name brands has left me skeptical about the mounting design and ease of instllation... but these Moen products were a very pleasant surprise!
As most bathroom hardware does these days, Moen incorporates small set screws in their design - but in a much better way than others I have installed. The set screw is easy to set and adjust, and holds once set! Unlike others, these fixtures are not loose or wobbly after installation. Additionally, the wall mount hardware is made very well - much better than others. Very sturdy and well designed - it is made so that you only have one correct way to mount it, and the portion of the wall mount that holds the visible fixture is very sturdy and remains square!
I prefer a partially open ring design, but Moen did not offer that in this finish. I purchased anyway, and am happy with the product, so I can't fault them for that as it's a matter of preference.

This was extremely easy to assemble. This is large enough to hold bath towels, but it could easily be used for hand towels as well.
The color has a nice finish, and it felt much heavier than expected.
I was very pleased with this product.

Works until it doesn't.
So, I was on here searching for a replacement for my hand towel rack, because it just decided to fall apart, and came across this listing, which, it turns out, is the exact item I bought less than three years ago. For three years, this towel rack was great. Easy to install, worked as any respectable metal circle should, until one day, the bronze portion just fell off of the wall fixture. No rhyme or reason as to which part failed, and nothing I can do will get it to go back on. So... if you want a decent hand towel rack for almost three years, and a surprise one morning, get this one.

Great quality and well worth the money!
Very easy to install and durable! These are well worth the extra couple of bucks for something built to last. Installation hint: If you are building a house or plan to in the future, go through the house and pick the ideal places to instal towel rings, tp holders, robe hooks etc., have your framers put blocks in where you will be mounting these. That way you don't have to use those plastic sheetrock anchors that NEVER hold and you also won't be limited to only where the studs are. I marked the studs with a magic marker everywhere I wanted them to put blocks between the studs. It gives you a large area to mount these to exactly where you want them! And you talk about sturdy, the kids could stand on these things and they aren't coming out of the wall. Keep a notebook for measurements in each room so you know where you had the blocks installed behind the sheetrock. Think ahead too. I put blocks across the bathroom wall so I could hang the kids robe hooks but also put blocks a foot higher in the wall for when they get bigger so I can move their robe hooks up. This Danbury line by Moen has matching robe hooks, towel bars, tp holders and of course these towel rings. All of them are great quality. This is a great line of matching bathroom hardware that is really built to last especially if installed right! Highly recommend!

DO NOT be fooled by the Moen name. This is cheap, flimsy crap.
Moen used to be a quality name in bath fixtures. Congratulations to the engineering department and upper management, in order to save production costs and boost your bottom line, you have successfully driven the quality of Moen down to "utter crap", cheap, flimsy, "crap". The tubing is so light and so thin it feels like plastic. This is a piece of junk. DO NOT be fooled by the Moen name. It no longer stands for quality.
