One of the best purchases I've made.
I ordered this product to use it exactly as intended, and have used it for plenty of things past those purposes. It works great for enemas, it heats up quickly so it doesn't freeze your ass, and fits in a little tight for people who aren't used to putting things in places they usually don't. If you order this I'd suggest buying an extra hose to make it more convenient. I found it really good for cleaning out the shower. It handles a lot of pressure and heat well. I ordered this hose about 6 months ago and have used it at least 4 times a month.
I'll list the pros and cons;
-I can't find anything as cheaply priced for enemas- without being potentially unclean-
-Very convenient. You don't need a special attachment for anything, it goes on most shower hoses.
-Super easy to clean- as it should be; this is something designed to go unclean places. It should clean easy.
-Comfortable and easy to use- I've bought enema bottles, they don't feel too great most times. This slides easily in.
-Durable- I've dropped this sucker pretty hard on tile plenty of times, and the tile/metal don't care- it looks like the day I bought it. It comes with 2 extra gaskets, and I don't see any of the other parts breaking or leaking any time soon.
-It works- enema bottles and laxative and all of those never worked for me, this works- no guarantee needed, it's water.
-Easy to set up/put away, all of the parts come apart easily, but stay tight when you need them to.
-It might be a little big to easily put inside, but once its in it slides easily.
-Its appearance is very normal. For people with children/family who wish to be discreet about this, many people won't recognize what this is used for especially if it is in parts.
-It's slick, which is great for entry, but not great if you want to hold it in while it does its job.
-You can't go past the rod- (I have) Technically you can, but pulling it back out can damage your ring, because the part where hose meets rod is very rough. The hose isn't that rough, but not super comfortable either.
-Its shape is very straightforward but could be awkward especially for people with inexperience.
-It heats up quickly, so if you don't have the right temperature, or the temperature changes without your notice (roommates, family cause water temperature change), it can burn/chill VERY quickly.
-The hose it comes with isn't long enough. A lot of people say this- and it is kind of true. I don't have any trouble using it in the shower standing/kneeling but if I want to sit in the shower I have trouble. My shower head isn't very high, so I can imagine troubles for someone with a tall shower-head. It would be very convenient to use this at the toilet, and if I had double the hose that would be no problem. Hoses aren't hard to find - so this is a very minor inconvenience.
-Unless you're a veteran, you're going to want to use lube/lotion etc. It's big enough.
This enema system is worth it. I'd buy it before anything expensive, or anything based off of silicone or rubber- the dildo shaped enema kits could easily wear and become unclean as they are porus.
If you're not very good at putting things in places, you might want to look into the rubber based ones- but fact is- they won't last as long, or be as clean/convenient.

EXCELLENT customer service
We have had ample time to use this product and let me start by saying that it surpasses any hydro therapy tool I have used in the past. It is simple to install and effortless to use. It is a real time saver compared to using an enema bag.
The plastic knob needs to be metal. Mine broke the first day... BUT.. and I can't stress this enough. I had a replacement product at my door within 42 hours from the phone call. EXCELLENT customer service!
I will stay at 4 stars because of the plastic (Shortcut) knob... I mean come on. It's the one thing that is used most often which makes it a high failure rate candidate.
The other thing I noticed which could become a problem is no reinforcement where the nozzle attaches to the hose. The potential for a hose failure is probable. I would recommend a flared metal appendage at the base of the nozzle (screw in point) to allow a more effortless insertion.
Other than that. Great Product. Superb customer service.

I like it and use it often
I don't use the metal tips. The water diverter attachment will act as a throttle valve so you don't need another valve, It just slows down the shower flow as it increases the enema flow..I find that the hose is just a mite too short. I would recommend that you also buy the 100 inch hose. This works well with the Clean Stream Universal Enema Attachment 3 Piece Set. I especially like the one with the double lobes. remember to let the water run through the metal hose to warm up the metal. Then test the water temperature on your wrist. You will need a bit of lubricant. Start with a small slow water flow, then insert the tip. Never adjust water flow when the tip is inserted. You could hurt yourself. Lay down a doubled up old towel on the floor between the shower and the toilet to keep the floor dry and help clean up accidental expulsions.

THIS IS SO AWESOME I BOUGHT IT AGAIN
THIS IS SO AWESOME I BOUGHT IT AGAIN!
When i hit 39 and read that Men who are high
meat eaters are also prone to prostate and colon
cancers and read that one of the ways to reduce these
chances is to clean out your system , so i bought one
of these. and i used it 3-4x a week ( have to admit i really
love the clean feeling that comes with it )
That was four years ago.. and it even died slowly.
It was just the knob that broke off. I reglued it., lasted
another 3 months, then i just used a little wrench
and finally it died two weeks ago.
It was such a great product i bought another one!!
and just broke it in, and OMG!! they improved on the design.
used to have a thinner stream, but now the stream is thicker and
softer for comfort.

Diverter faulty, but useful product
I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. I think I expected it to "rinse" me, but instead, it's what it says--an enema device. It fits comfortably and the hose is long enough and very flexible. Some reviewers seem to want to lie down while they use this. I can't understand that. I just stand up in the shower and insert it. After filling myself up for a few minutes with warm water, I have to go and sit on toilet. In about 10 minutes everything inside comes out in a rush. This provides the cleaning. To be completely sure, I can repeat the process until everything comes out clear. That is the technique.
After using Cleanstream this way a few times, I tried out the smaller head, the thin one with only one hole at the end. This indeed does provide a rinse, going deep inside and flushing out the dirt. You can repeat until nothing but clear comes out and then rinse it out of the tub with the same nozzle. I have a single handle shower though and so when I adjust the pressure, it also reduces the temperature. This isn't a huge issue, and if you want warmer water, you could put a control valve at the water source to reduce the flow. However, the cooler water isn't uncomfortable, and the diverter valves are problematic anyway (see below) so I didn't choose this option. There's also some enema effect from this "rinse" application, but it's much milder and only results in a "muddy" discharge, sort of the color of pee.
The fault in the product is in the diverter head. It is metal, but poorly made. After about three uses it completely fell apart, and while it was working, the water flow was never fully diverted to one or the other outlet (shower head or enema tube). It always leaked, and in addition, the hose is so slinky that it needed a place to be held in place. I got some sticky hooks from Home Depot to attach to the wall and this more or less worked, but I found it awkward and unattractive.
I shopped around for some other diverters, from Delta and other companies, but they cost around $30 or more, the cost of the entire device, and reviews said they weren't very satisfactory either, at least after a while.
Therefore, I've come to the conclusion that the best way to use this device is to simply take the shower head off and attach the enema tube and then repeat this as necessary. It's hardly ideal, but it works, which is more than can be said for the ugly and faulty diverter assembly.

Great for tub parts too!
I needed a new hose and T valve for our whirlpool bath. I had no idea this type of item existed until I recieved this after purchasing due to the lowest cost, It was a bit surprising to open the package and find some odd looking bits and pieces in there while installing it only to discover what they are intended for. I had quite the laugh with the BTA-MALL CS rep while asking if that was in fact what I had ordered. :-)
I can't review the other items or functions, however the hose, fittings and T valve are of great quality (especially the valve) so if you need new parts for your tub this is a good option.

Wow. Game changer.
First thanks to everyone who answered my questions. I'm not even sure if I'm using it "right" but it's working for me so whatever. I was afraid of how that metal would go inserting, and controlling water pressure & temp. So I turned it on first & adjusted. But then with water already shooting, I couldn't get it up/in. But then realized I didn't have to insert. Just being at the door worked and water pressure took care of the rest. So it's for me an advantage that insertion isn't necessary. Next, I don't do the hold thing. I just let it go as soon as needed. Then go back for another round if needed. With a bag you try & make the most of the fluid & not "waste it." But w this, that's not an issue. Wish I had one at my boyfriends house but too inappropriate to install over there, lol. And yes, working is the main thing. I already had a diverter on my shower for my old washing machine so I just used that. I can see how the one it comes w is cheap but so what. Replace that if needed from a hardware store. The important parts of this rock.

Works excellent. Would buy again if I had too, but it's so durable that I'm pretty sure I'll have this for years to come. My boyfriend is very pleased and it makes prep time a sinch.

Water Water Everywhere
Great for a deeper cleanse than a bag can provide. I used it for about an hour or so and removed a lot of dirt. Two down sides. My shower only has one knob so the flow cannot be controlled to the showerhead AND have warm water flowing at the same time so I need to have the shower head and the hose on at the same time. A valve on both ends to divert the water from the shower head and then another one towards the tip to control the flow would be much better and give this item a 5+ star rating. The other downside is that the hose could be about 1 foot longer so that you can lay down in the tub while deep cleaning. Otherwise the strong spray is great for stimulation and power-washing while allowing it to trickle is good for a deeper gentler cleanse.

I read some reviews that the valve is easy to replace/find
The valve that attaches to the shower broke as I was trying to attach it to the shower head. I read some reviews that the valve is easy to replace/find, but it should not break immediately. I improved my rating because the company sent me another one. All I can say is it works, but I would suggest ordering the valve suggested or go to a hardware store and get one because the one that comes with it is not very good.

Produces as promised; needs proper instructions for personal use
Excellent product; delivered on time and as described. Be sure to look up how to properly use this first though. How you think you may use it may not actually be the case.

Works very well, but I can't get the valve ...
Works very well, but I can't get the valve that goes between the pipe and the showerhead to quit unscrewing while I'm using it, so it sprays water on the ceiling.

Passing ... Legislation
As a proper Southern Gentleman, I purchased this due to celiac disease. Rather than the unpleasantries and brusque language used in many reviews, I shall explain why this product aids treatment of a chronic medical condition. I shall refer to the problem as "passing legislation".
For years, I've been frustrated at my inability to pass legislation, barely an earmark. My time "in committee" was thoroughly unproductive. If you read the news, nothing's getting done in Congress.
I searched for options to my legislative ineffectiveness, but all remedies simply made the logjam worse and added more infighting. When you are serious about getting a bill out of committee - you need to get the majority whip on your side. To be certain, like all politicians - he needs a lot of greasing. Just call it "a consideration". Use a lot of "consideration" when inviting the Majority Whip into your chambers.
The long reach of this whip ensures even shorter of stature legislators can push that bill through. The only modification I made was to use a heavy duty brass redirect valve. The attachment can easily be swapped out for a hand shower, so this isn't going to be permanently haunting your shower in an undignified way. Keep in mind, the Majority Whip will not regulate temperature for you. Hot, cold - it's all the same to him. It's not the same to your Chambers. So, be sure to adjust the temperature (and reduce your political pressure) before starting a conference with your Majority Whip.
Now, I have higher effectiveness in chambers with more bills passed on a regular basis.

Great product to replace the bag!
After much research and review I finally decided to purchase this kit. I must say I am extremely impressed. It has completely taken the place of the ole faithful bag of years past in my house. Being that I frequently self hydrate so to speak I enjoy the ease and convince of having this connected to my shower head and ready for use. The only thing I wish this kit would include is a longer hose and a two way connector for the shower. These items I had to purchase separately.

Great system! Love the metal probes and long tube
Great system! Love the metal probes and long tube. Soooo much better than the bag or jerry-rigged systems I'd been using for years. Can't believe I waited so long to buy one of these. So worth the money which is not even that much for the great quality of the product. Definitely make sure to get the bundle with the longer silicone adapter as well. Great for a deep cleaning and worked amazingly! As a gay man, a must have for worry free get-togethers!

I am pleased with this purchase. The system came with exactly all of the parts listed. I think i may be using it with the tip on the wrong end of the hose b/c it works better that way. The adapter is plastic but seems to be fine so far other than creating a moving air noise. I leave it on all the time and just take off the hose/tip. The water pressure adjusting switch is a must. Mine has some trouble with temperature though luckily only will occasionally go cold and not scalding. Overall very happy.
I have to ditto with other reviewers that it's a great way to clean the shower and tub also!

If a person has the need for something like this, I would recommend this for sure
It does the job very well. The only problem was the the Diverter Valve was cheaply made and broke right away. $13.00 and a trip to Home Depot fixed that.
If a person has the need for something like this, I would recommend this for sure. I would get the Home Depot Diverter when you order this, just to save a little frustration.
