Be creative and adjust the flow....
Awesome fountain for the price!!
First thing to go was the fake ivy and foofoo flowers. Not a fan of that stuff. A bit tough getting out of the packaging and had a styrofoam mess but rather that than a broken fountain!!
Easy to set up. Put the top jug on, snake the tube through, attach it to the pump, fill bottom jug 3/4 with water and plug it in!
Adjust the water flow until you have the sound you prefer.
Now, the problem........ Hubby unplugged it because it was "too loud for me". Whaaaat? He's practically deaf. Oh well, better than him smoking in the house. Soooooooooo, this morning I moved it to where I wanted it anyway, the other side of the deck amongst my pretty flower pots and found some rocks to put in the jugs to break the water flow. Bottom jug took a tall jar filled with water and a rock on top to break the flow. Cranked it up to Maximum (heh heh). Check to make sure the water isn't splashing off the rocks so the water doesn't disappear. Nice natural rock stream sound. Let's see if that appeases him.
I'm very pleased :D

This fountain came very quickly from Lamps Plus and it can also be purchased directly on their site for same price. I bought thru BTA-MALL because I wanted to charge it on my BTA-MALL Store card. it was very well packed and had no damage. It was very easy to set up the only thing I was a little confused about was the light connections if it was ok to submerse them inside the water I left them out. I'm giving it 4 stars only because there is no way to shut off the lights. The pump and the lights are all one connection which means that in order to operate the pump the lights must stay on all the time. I think this is a stupid set up. I live in Arizona and the fountain is outside there is no reason to have the lights on all day not to mention they will burn out much more quickly. Also this set up does not allow you to replace the pump with any pump purchased anywhere else. If you buy this fountain I suggest you also purchase a back up pump because if the company stops carrying this fountain it is very possible they will also not carry a replacement pump. You can always buy one from any other place but you would have to forfeit the lights. The replacement pump # is R8478 and it costs 24.99 plus shipping and tax, you can call them and ask for their parts Dept and place the order. If you choose this fountain definitely worth considering a back up pump. I'm not sure I would had gotten it if I knew but it seems that not all but many of the fountains with lights now have this kind of a set up.

This has been running non stop since I got it this spring. Occasionally I add more water. Yes it is louder than I expected but that gave me the opportunity to add a rock with a frog on a lily pad, a ceramic toad on a rock and a small "log". All for the water to fall on first so the noise is reduced. And I love the fake vines and flowers. In fact I set it up on a wooden crate (to make it look higher) and then "went to town" decorating with artificial grass, flowers, cattails etc to make it look like it was out in the field. It's on the front porch by my door. I guess everybody likes something different.

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Very attractive. Water flows great. There's a setting on the pump for minimum to maximum which obviously adjusts the water flow. I put it on minimum and the sound of the water was soothing and peaceful. The size is perfect for my location. I would recommend this.

After some alterations 5 Stars!
Was a little disappointed at first, as some reviewers noted this fountain is very LOUD. We tried several different ideas and finally settled on a few large rocks in the bottom, so the final cascade hits a rock instead of water and added some lava glass in the other two pots, now it’s perfect, just enough soothing sound without disrupting your peace and quiet. We also took off the provided greenery and added our own. The only other thing I would have wished for is a waterfall instead of all just straight drops but otherwise a really great fountain for the price. I attached some photos that I hope help.

Absolutely love this fountain
Absolutely love this fountain; the sound it makes as the water flows is hypnotic and relaxing. One of my favorite items.

Not really an outdoor fountain
This would be a great indoor fountain. It's not so great outdoors. First, the falling water is almost inaudible. It's the quietest fountain I've ever heard. I have to laugh at the description that says it will "help mask unwanted outdoor noise." I live in the very quiet wilderness. Eight feet from the fountain, I can barely hear it.
Second, there is no drain for the water. The base of the fountain is essentially a big bucket. The entire fountain will have to be inverted or tipped over to drain the water before the first freeze. I've considered installing a drain plug.
And there is no screen or filter where the water drains back into the base. Every bug or leaf that gets into the fountain can drain right into the base of the fountain. And again, you have to manhandle the entire fountain to get the water out of it. I solved that problem by inserting some screened plastic tubing into the drain holes. The screens catch all the debris before it gets into the fountain.
I also had to use silicon sealant to fill the area around the base of the lower waterfall bucket. There was very poor quality control at the factory. There was about an 8-inch long gap that allowed water (and everything else) to just fall right into the enclosed base of the fountain.
So don't buy this fountain for outdoor use unless you want a silent fountain and are prepared to make some alterations to make it suitable for outdoor use. If you live in an area where temperatures drop below freezing, you'll discover the fountain is very difficult to drain.

Neighbor’s envy for sure by looks and feels durable too
Very beautiful, natural, rustic looking fountain.
However, as other reviews, the sound of the waterfall is similar to a open faucet, un pleasant. So, again like other creative users here, I modulated the sound by placing few stoned inside the pots, made the water flow on them instead of the water in the bowl directly.
Adjusted the height as needed by placing it on a platform.
Delivered in time, perfectly packed and very easy to set up.

This is a wonderful fountain. Sturdy
This is a wonderful fountain. Sturdy, well built & simple to assemble. The pump is silent but the falling water is not quiet due to the overall height. I have it outside on the deck.

A lovely pastoral sound for my lanai.
I love the fountain. One problem. I read the comments of other purchasers and someone mentioned two plugs as he/she had a light in the bottom of the lowest pot. This must have been another pot. My fountain does not have a light so there is only one plug. The cord is long enough that I did not need the power bar I thought I should have for the two plugs. Other than having purchased something I don't need (the power bar) I am thrilled with this. It's pretty, was easy to set up and arrived at my front door when promised. You can set the trickling sound high or low. Low is very audible. Soothing and pleasant!
