hey, for the money, you can't really beat these. All of my mics work. had to buy a jumper to plug it into our system, no big deal. Unwrapping it was time consuming, but impressive presentation. Used them for a town-hall style meeting so we didn't have to pass the handheld microphones around. I will say I couldn't get them to be loud unless the person basically ate their microphone. I don't have another mixer, so I can probably just adjust other microphones that run on the same system and mix everything louder. But, again, for the price...WOWWWWWW.

As some reviewers said would happen, one of the mics in our set wouldn't work. We only needed about 6 so it wasn't an issue. Other than that, we had none of the buzzing or anything. They're quite clear. We'll see how they do over time. Four stars.

Good mic set for small/medium conference/training room
We use this set in a small training room for about 18 people max. The microphones are good quality and able to pick up voices clearly enough that they are shared with multiple people sitting at a table. Due to the acoustics in the room we do not leave all the mics on all the time but have the participants turn them on when they are speaking, then turn them off afterwards. The quality drops as the battery drains so we invested in rechargeable 9V batteries (purchased here on BTA-MALL).
Con: You can not daisy chain these units. All mics have different frequencies but of the two sets we ordered (at different times and from different vendors) they shared the same channels. If two mics were on using the same channel at the same time it caused a lot of interference. We had the same issue with the PDWM8900 (same control unit but with lavalier mics) in that the frequencies overlapped between the devices.

Great for low-budget videoconferencing
This package of mixer and 8 wireless mic's is perfect for my low-budget approach to the audio component of a videoconferencing setup for my business using Skype. Value for money couldn't be better and I am very pleased with the audio quality coming out of the mixer.
I am now contemplating buying a second package to use in the same building, but am wondering about cross-talk between two units. It all depends on whether the same wireless frequencies get re-used I guess. On the back of the receiver/mixer I have purchased and installed already, the Frequency label identifies the 8 configured channels to be at 174.8 MHz, 180.8 MHz, 190.1 MHz, 193.0 MHz, 200.6 MHz, 212.6 MHz, 214.2 MHz and 215.5 MHz.
If I purchase another 8 mic unit, or even the similar PylePro 4 mic and 2 mic units, how can I arrange to avoid frequency clashes that will inevitably cause interference between units in the same proximity ?

Introduced LOTS of noise and buzzing!!
I don't really like giving bad reviews but this device was just a Pyle of Crap. I was trying to be very optimistic among mixed reviews but the moment I hooked this thing up it introduced a loud BUZZ to my system with a professional TOA amp. Touching the unit made the buzzing change pitch so obviously there's something not right. In my large conference room space I have two outlets types with different grounding types but it didn't matter. I really liked the individual volume controls too (bummer)!! I tried many different configurations and nothing I did eliminated the buzz and hiss. I still tested the mics and was also disappointed. You have to be speaking directly into them for decent pickup and I wanted this for more of a full room audio solution. If you turned up the mic volumes full then the buzz and hissing was even worse and you still really couldn't hear people talking unless they were a few inches from the mic.
Sent back for a refund which BTA-MALL handled no problem!

Good sound quality but horrible interference, short transmitting range
I've had this mic system for about 2 years and used in various cities/events.
The receiver MUST be near the microphones - as close as possible - otherwise you'll get terrible, unprofessional sounding interference.
Even when you have it as close to microphones as possible, there is still a chance you get interference.
If the receiver is within 5-10 feet of the mics, you will get passable quality.
Also, works best with only 2 antennas, not 4.

3 different sets - all have 1 or 2 bad microphones
I purchased one of these from BTA-MALL Warehouse Deals. It had a bunch of noise in the system, and one microphone didn't connect to the receiver. So I returned it and purchase another from Warehouse Deals. The second set also had a bad mic, but no noise in the system. So, I decided instead to purchase a completely new one from BTA-MALL direct. This brand new set has two bad microphones! I'm really dissapointed, but to be fair - this system cost hundreds less than a real professional system, so perhaps I shouldn't complain. But really - three sets?

These mics are great. Easy to setup
These mics are great. Easy to setup, and simple to use. My only complaint is that one of the microphones was bad straight out of the box. I have yet to start a warranty ticket, I will update this review after it is resolved.

Great value for the price and quality built.
This is a great set of wireless microphones for use in a conference room. We use it in place of our more expensive REVO microphones. Works well for skype, etc. Pickup and sound quality is awesome as well. We also have the handled mic version which we use for events where we have the speakers standing up as the tabletop mics are not designed to be held by standing speakers. You can't beat these for the price!
