not bulky and easy to use
A very easy and convenient way to carry your medical information. There's an opening behind the velcro to store your information. For those reviewers that are intellectually challenged and could not find the opening to insert the information, I have attached two pictures to illustrate where the information is store. Just pinch the velcro next to the medical symbol an opening will appear.

Medical bracelet with watch face added
Thank you to the reviewer who suggested the possibility of using the Medical bracelet as a watch band. Great idea! I selected an inexpensive watch at Walmart for $12.88, carefully removed the original watch band using scissors, then threaded the Medical bracelet into the watch face. Note that the watch face needs to be in the style of the attached photo. Also, the space on the watch face where the Medical bracelet should be threaded through must be large enough to accommodate the Medical bracelet. Any men's watch will probably work. I bought a smaller-faced women's watch and it works fine too. Just compare the watch face you are purchasing to the size of the Medical bracelet band. I purchased the watch at a retail store so I could make sure the Medical band would fit into the watch face, rather than purchase online where size compatibility would be just a guess.

There isn't much to say... it is as it is described. As for my own observations &/or notes... I'd say that the band is MUCH longer than I expected (I dare say this may even wrap around SOME people's legs &/or ankles). The material seems to be quite durable (inc. the Velcro -- & I only address this because it is apparent that some Velcro is cheaply made & frays very easily).
My only advice about this product is this: If you use a pen (or any writing tool with ink; inc. markers) to fill in your information on the included card, be sure to "dab" the card on another piece of paper when you're done, otherwise you'll risk smearing what you've written. Because the included card has been coated with a special material to make it "waterproof" (similar to waterproof paper, if you've ever used that), any ink you use on it will tend to smear if you don't give it time to "absorb", & also lightly dab any excess ink that hasn't dried / absorbed. If you make sure to let the ink dry, then dab it, you shouldn't have any problems with smearing, & your information should stay nice & legible for a long time to come!!

It's okay. Mainly got this as a back up, but young son thinks it is light, somewhat comfortable, and thinks it looks less like a medical bracelet, so he has worn it a bit more than his regular medical bracelet. Difficult to write info on the little piece of paper. I'm not sure if emergency responders would notice this is truly a medical bracelet; it also concerns me that it isn't quite easy or quick for them to actually gain access to that small piece of paper. So, this is okay, but not great in my opinion. I would appreciate it so much if you mark this review as helpful--thanks! :-)

Great for everyday use. Adjustable. Sporty look. 4 stars because the paper provided to record your information is really small to work with. The paper to write on did well with ball point ink rather pencil or gel ink. Must let ball point ink dry before folding the paper and inserting it into the bracelet. Also, the slot to place the paper in is difficult to find. Water proof for washing dishes and small water situations. I have not gotten it wet in larger bodies of water like heavy rain and a swimming pool. Once you find the slot for the paper, you're good to go. The paper will not go completely in the slot. I believe this is mainly to be able to grasp the card to remove and insert it. The bracelet, once closed, will protect the piece of the card sticking out. My wrist measures 6.75"-7.25". Fits great for me.

Not a good medical alert option.
Don't waste your money. Poorly designed you can hardly write anything on the small piece of paper that gets folded up and inserted in the opening. The medical alert red logo is off to the side so it's not as visible as it should be. There is no buckle of any kind so it's awkward to put on, it's scratchy on the edges and I doubt seriously if it would hold up to daily showers. You are much better off with a medical ID bracelet or necklace/dog tags. This is a classic case of "you get what you pay for." Spend the money and get something good.

Works well enough
I am probably "average male" as far as wrist size is concerned. Anyone with larger wrists than me, whether due to fat or bone, should be aware that the "hook" of the Velcro (the hard/scratchy part) will be against your skin where it provides that extra circumference. People with smaller wrists shouldn't worry, as the overlap is in the other direction, and that scratchy will just be padded by the rest of the bracelet.
It looks quite sharp, but is below average in execution.
The instructions that came with it are lacking, as well as the product description. After reading other reviews, it seems that there are a couple different versions of this item in circulation, with the pouch for the medical information showing up in slightly different spots. On mine, there are two pads of "loop" Velcro (the compliment of the "hook"). Where the gap is between these two pads, if you pinch, you'll see one of the pads lift up a bit - this is the pouch.

My Third One, Nice to have spares for wash day.
I just bought my third one, a Denim one this time. The other two are Olive Green. It is nice to have more than one because they get a little 'Ripe' over time. Now I can wash one while wearing one.
I type my info in a small font and seal the paper on both sides with clear packing tape. I swim with mine on no problem. Also much safer when working on a car or around electrical devices than a metal one.
The instructions could be clearer to. For those of you who are having problems storing your info, If you would look closely you will see the pocket on the inside where you put your info card. One end of the Velcro is not sewn, forming a pocket.
I do find it somewhat amazing that there are so many reviewers that can't operate this Medical ID bracelet tho and give a one star rating.

Perfect I.D. bracelet for an active person ...
One of the problems that many people encounter with the traditional Medical Alert I.D. bracelets is that they are allergic to the metals. Having a rash is no fun and adds insult to injury. Mind you, this Vital I.D. bracelet isn't the prettiest thing that came down the pike, but can be a lifesaver. If I'm at home alone or go out, it's a necessity.
An obvious advantage over the metal ones is the extra information that can be written on the I.D. card that slips inside the bracelet. When I first glanced at it, I wondered how anyone could find it given the velcro is black. When I slipped the card into the slot it didn't go all the way in and peeked out just enough to make it visible if someone removed the bracelet.
Before I inserted the card in the bracelet I "laminated" it with tape to keep the ink from running. I was able to put emergency contacts, special instructions, and a meds list. The bracelet is washable, will fit any adult wrist, and is actually quite comfortable. There is an additional card that can be tucked away for safekeeping if you medical needs change. In addition to housing medical information, this would be a perfect I.D. bracelet for those who are worried about loved ones with Alzheimer's wandering off. Highly recommended.
Inserting the I.D.:
Open up your bracelet and place it wording face up. You will see the words "MEDICAL ID" and the insignia. There is approximately three inches of velcro to the left. At the end of it this is where you will find the opening. When you insert your paper card it will stick out just enough so it can be spotted.

We purchased the "charcoal" color sold by BIGFLYSPORTS -
As others have mentioned the writing rubs off IMMEDIATELY (we used normal pen). For this reason, plan to not touch even when you think it's dry. We wiped it off with an alcohol wipe and re-wrote, then used clear tape over it.
Unfortunately, after getting it all set up to go, my husband put it on and wore it for a few hours realizing that it was not loosening up and was quite tight. He then looked at the package and it clearly says Youth/Small Adult. The listing needs to be clear that they are sending "Youth/Small Adult" instead of saying "Adult ID Bracelet." For a grown man, of normal size, this will not work. Pictures submitted.
