Classroom Keepers... not worth the money!
It does not suit my needs. Its made of cardboard which after 2 wks started collapsing. It's definitely not worth the money I spent!

Exactly what I needed!
I ordered this piece for work to organize my papers that I use to build charts for new clients. It is made of cardboard and its somewhat sturdy. I wouldn't recommend stacking anything on top. The instructions were very clear, and super easy to follow. I wouldn't use this product of it's going to be in an area that will see heavy traffic. I'm the only one that accesses this mail slot organizer so it will be easy to make sure it is taken care of. Some of the reviews I read said that it was falling apart after just a short time, however these reviews were fom teachers that had this in the class room. With constant daily use from little people I can see how it could easily be damaged and fall apart :) . If you are looking to add this pice to the classroom, I'd suggest a sturdier piece! If you are looking to organize papers or if it will be in an area that it will see minimal access, then it's great!! Will be ordering more soon!

I bought this to help keep me organized. I abhor having to stuff 23 folders to find, after I have finished, that 2 new flyers need to be backpacked home. With this I can have kids stuff mailboxes and only put things in their folders once. Also, instead of needing an "absent folder", I can save homework and classwork right in each student's mailbox. I can keep lunch money and notes home in there. The directions weren't terrible. The section that creates the columns was confusing. I didn't know I had to pull mine apart. I searched a Youtube video to help with assembly, but the "column" part in the video was one long piece to be folded where as mine was in a different order and needed to be pulled apart. I'm sorry. I know that's confusing. I only need 21 slots for now, but I like having the extras. It is a little bulky (wide), but I love it. I have numbered my slots (and the students) so that I can reuse it yearly. I keep an index card on top with my students' name and number. Would purchase again.

Yes for cheap
I received this in time and didn't want to write a comment until it was set up. It was for my mom who teaches a class and needed a good paper holder for her students. The instructions were simple to follow and the sturdy is very supportive. This looks taller on here than it is in reality but it is worth the buy if you don't want to pay extra for the wood ones. In any case for a cheap quick fix this IS absolutely worth it. I told my mom if she wanted, she could easily make a plastic covering around it, so nothing damages it. We all know how children can be. her and I are very pleased with the results.
Con: my only concern was some of the tabs that interlock to keep it sturdy weren't there. (not the name tags but the parts where it sticks out more to hold it in places and through slots.) That or they were just cut off in the process of making it so it would fit right.
All in all it is still very sturdy. and worth the money for a cheap fix. I might get one for myself once I can get my room done.

Still strong one year later
I'm a freelance Graphic Designer who works out of a home office. I bought two of these shelf systems a year ago to organize my paper collection. LOVE THEM. They arrived flat, were simple to put together, and are still very sturdy even after a year of use. I keep them right on my desk. One has 8 reams of cardstock and the other has 6 reams of paper. The other slots are filled with packages of Avery labels, sample paper packs, transparencies, half packs, etc. Paper-sized stuff, you get it.
My only criticism is the price. This is cardboard! You assemble it yourself. Nothing about this should cost more than ten dollars. I bought a 6-shelf unit at a local store during back-to-school season that cost only six dollars!
So it's overpriced, yes, but worth it to solve my organization problem.

Perfect for What I Need it For
I am surprised to see some of the reviews for this item. I have researched literature sorters and they are pretty expensive (maybe I'm looking in the wrong place), but this price seemed cheap--even for cardboard.
I homeschool my three kids, and we are using this to sort the different types of paper we use (copy paper, construction, notebook, sheet protectors etc.) Each one of my kids also has a slot for me to hand back their papers. I don't have anything massively heavy in it, but I do have a lot of paper in here, and it seems to be holding up just fine for me.
I like the color and it seems to be sturdy. I think it should come with labels (as pictured) but printing my own wasn't too much trouble. Overall, I like this sorter, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick way to sort their school supplies.

I thought it was a great buy. I wanted sometime to display some of ...
For the 14 dollars that this book display cost, I thought it was a great buy. I wanted something to display some of my sons books where he could actually see the front of them and this works perfectly. I almost didn't buy it because of all the negative reviews but I am very glad I did. Yes it is cardboard which is why it is so cheap, but It seems sturdy and has no problem holding the 15 kids books in it.

Product does not say material is cardboard
No where on the website does the manufacturer state that the product is made of cardboard. We received the product and had to return it. It only states corrugated material on the outside of the packaging, which you don't read until receive the item. Beware of this from this manufacturer. Most of their products are made of corrugated cardboard.

As I was assembling the unit everything seemed fine until I realized I was missing a whole shelf
As I was assembling the unit everything seemed fine until I realized I was missing a whole shelf. The unit is suppose to have 9 horizontal shelf dividers but mine only had 8 which only allowed for 27 slots. I was able to use one of the shelves as a stencil and cut out another shelf out of the shipping box but obviously the colors don't match. $40+ for a bunch of cardboard is not worth paying the extra shipping to return it. I would give this 5 stars if Pacon Corp. could send out another self and if the unit were a little cheaper.
Update: Pacon sent out a replacement self directly to my house at no extra charge! It's nice to see a company being so responsive.

Dont expect to be using this for anything but paper unless you plan to throw it away in about a year or two at best
This thing is made of horrible extra papery cardboard its about a few years old but, barely ever gets touched isnt full, never has been, and doesnt get touched ever. Its sagging from the actual unmade package's (since i purchased two) weight on top, and its got dips on every other shelf from the shelves with a single paperback video game guidebook to the shelves i left hardbound architecture books on. I would have thrown this out if i wasnt looking for an even older smaller organizer made of cheap wood i purchased a couple years before these. It has a giant beer promotional thing from a 711 on it that blows fake snow around a giant beer bottle.... and it has books packing it to the brim and its showing no wear and tear.... if only i could find it on here because it wasnt like it cost anymore its just a bit smaller.
(sorta copy pasted this review that i originally made to answer a question someone asked about the project incase the review seems to trail off topic a bit)
