Great scale!! Be aware of the weight cap and the need for a calibration weight, but ENJOY!
I wish I had gotten this scale years ago. Make sure you get the recommended calibration weight, although I found the scale to be nearly perfectly calibrated on arrival. This scale is less subject to air fluctuations than a typical countertop scale and goes down to 0.01 grams unlike the typical 0.1 grams. So much better for measuring my beeswax and cocoa butter. It would be useful for many purposes outside of kitchen and mail such as weighing jewelry. It does, however, have a weight cap that is less than that of some countertop scales, so bear this in mind when purchasing.

Love this little gem
Love this little gem. Fine, totally accurate from what I can tell. (like from recipes stating a tsp of salt weighs X grams, it is on the money) I have used it for sausage making (spices, cure and culture weights) for soap making (essential oils and clay) and for splitting vitamin capsules down to a smaller dose. It has come in really handy and I've been using it for 4 months with no problems. I've not even put in replacement batteries yet! And some times I use it several times in a day.
Has a tare button that always works, also a mode that you can change from grams to ounces, gn (grain) ct (carat) I just about always use it on grams. If you need one, I certainly would say this is one you should consider getting.

Fast and accurate!
I had to go looking for a new scale; as my old RCBS powder scale gave up the ghost and rather than buy another SLOW and expensive mechanical scale I would try a digital one. This is a nice scale, bought it on the reviews and it did a great job checking the weights of a batch of bullets I had reloaded. The scale is quick and very accurate (bullet weights are measured in grains) and double checked the scale with repeat weightings, it checked to the grain.

Good for the price - calibration needs improvement.
Come with battery installed and terminal disconnected - pulling a tab and ready to use. Tested using a few proof Ike silver dollars (24.62g) and clad dollars (22.68g). The silvers has a consistent reading of 24.43g (one has 24.39), and most clads 22.51g. This indicate a good craftsmanship (consistent reading) with so so calibration (0.8% error). I am happy with the thirteen dollars spent.

These are fantastic little scales
2nd one we've purchased. One living in our kitchen as the cooking scale, and the other in the shop being used for two-part polymer weighing. The weighing surface is small, but it's proud of the housing so you can use it with larger objects so long as they have flat bottoms. These are fantastic little scales, especially for the price. Seem quite accurate (I've checked, using tools from my research lab). Quick to tare, fast to respond. The only thing I don't like is the little closure release, which seems from a human factors standpoint to be on the wrong side -- it's on the bottom half, not the lid itself, so opening it is awkward. It's nice that is has the integrated lid, however, to keep out dust, and since it's hinged it never gets misplaced.

Very nice scale for the money
Seems to be accurate and works great, however it did not measure in the units for which I purchased it which is my fault for not doing more research before buying it. Will not measure in grains for reloading. I give it a 5 star because it would be a nice scale for what it is designed for.

Very accurate, but slight delay in measurement
Great little scale. I got the one that goes up to 100g and it weighs down to 100th of a gram (10mg) precision. The accuracy is good BUT I had to put the calibration weight on the device and wait around 5 seconds. It weighed 0.06g off for the first few seconds, then it would flash again and update to exactly 100g with the calibration weight. Yours may be different, just be sure to check for that. Super handy for weighing out your supplements in powder form. If you are complaining about the accuracy, please be sure to actually calibrate it. It could be off a bit if you don't.

We bought this scale to use with capping supplements, such as Turmeric, Vitamin C powder, Cinnamon, etc. The scale is wonderfully sensitive and you never have to guess at the amount of powder. And I especially appreciate the tare function, that lets you subtract the weight of whatever you are using to weigh your material. Surprisingly, even a small piece of wax paper weighs something!

Suspect quality and accuracy
The metal plate on mine came installed crooked which I can't seem to adjust. I bought this scale for doing very light measurements but it doesn't seem very sensitive at all. Sometimes I'll put 0.3 grams of stuff on it and it still thinks it's at zero. This scale obviously isn't very expensive, but still, not a great value here.

Not very accurate
Well my expectations were that this would work for weighing my cat medications, since it claims to have resolution of .02 grams. That simply is not the case. I put one pill on and measure .1 grams. I cut the pill in half and remove half, and it measures 0 grams. I add the pill half back on, and it measures 0. I add the second half and it measures 0.
When measuring other small objects, it has a bad habit of auto taring.
This was a complete waste of money
