Accurate but software has a lot of bugs
Since the default temperature was in degrees Celsius I was afraid there might be issues if using degrees F as unit conversions are math and no one can do math anymore (if countries using the metric system). So it turns out the direct conversion from Celsius to Fahrenheit is correct. The incorrect part are the trends. If you want representative trend data only use the Celsius scale not the Fahrenheit scale. Attached are pictures of the same trend in the two different scales. The temperature is in a very light yellow so look very closely. The current temp was 24.4C (76F). On the right and on the Celsius graph, the yellow trend is showing about 24.4C. The same trend on the Fahrenheit scale the current temp is clearly closer to 80F than 75F. The first grid line above 75F is 76F and the next grid line above that is 78F. So the trend on the Fahrenheit scale is reading 79F versus 76F which should have been on the first grid line after 75F. The other annoying detail is there are 15 grid lines on the graphic but when scaling, it only accepts increments of 10. So if you want one grid line per degree F or degree C for example, it cannot be done.

I was concerned about air quality in my central air/heat house during the cold winter days. I was not sure if it is too tight to restrict fresh air intake. I even considered getting an air heat exchanger that allows the central air system to get fresh air with minimum heat loss.
Before I invested in the exchanger installation, I decided to measure CO2 level in my house to assess air quality. This device was one of the cheapest CO2 meters I could find, so I ordered it.
The device arrived very quickly. It is very portable, and uses a standard USB power source. I have not connected it to my computer as of yet, so I am not sure about its data logging capabilities (if any).
One of the best features is that the device has 3 LEDs to display CO2 range - green has a limit of 800ppm, so it informative enough just to give a quick glance at the device at night (green LED is quite bright). It also displays inside temperature, but you need to get close to the device to see the reading. It also does not have a backlight.
Overall, I am happy to get this meter - it works great and allows me to monitor my bedroom air quality. It saved me from getting an expensive upgrade to my central air system.

Adequate for determining if further testing is needed.
Works as advertised. I found that the carbon dioxide level in my workspace was exceeding 3000 ppm. It beeps continuously once it maxes out at 3000ppm. Would be nice if it could be silenced without unplugging the unit. Management checked my findings with a more advanced and expensive unit which showed that the levels actually reached 4000 ppm. They are now modifying the A/C unit to bring in more fresh air.

Motivated us to open our windows for fresh air more
After using this meter we are keeping our windows open a lot more. It would be better to use an HRV or ERV (Energy recovery ventilation) to cut heating/cooling costs but you have to have the space and money to install one in your house.
The measurements seem off by up to even 30% sometimes but they are accurate enough that I would recommend this unit to others. Most of us aren't doing science experiments, just trying to stay healthy.

It would help if it had a backlight option, it reads and is true without caibration issues but the screen is kind of small , a fair buy but I am not overly impressed for price.

Nice little gadget, and actually works. Probably will buy second one in the future.

The meter broke after about 1 week. Suddenly the display showed half 7's and there was no sound or anything. Perhaps a humid hot day caused it to break? The build seems very bad and plastic like. The functionality is good though, it did what it was supposed to do and gave an indication of how good the air quality was. Too bad it only lasted for such a short time. Refund is in progress. Not recommended.

CO2 meter that sits on top of my TV, for fresh air quality.
Excellent! I have this CO2 meter setting on top of my TV and when the yellow light comes on and the small beep, beeps, I know to turn on the fan or crack open a window. Shows temp, then flashes to PPM amount. The yellow alarm can be adjusted, but comes set, at around 700PPM. Uses USB plug which plugs into the wall socket.

wonderful product and it works very good. i had to return it though because its ppm is 0-2000ppm and i needed a 0-10,000ppm but it works exactly as the ad says

Works well enough for a general reading of CO2. Not as good as a $500 unit but works great for the price. Highly recommend for a grow room, or to monitor in door spaces. I was amazed to find if I keep my bedroom door closed by morning the reading was around 1900 ppm CO2. Scary!.
