Even my dog could install this
Took me 5 minutes to hang this. There are 2 eyehooks already installed on the top of the blind that fit on the cuphooks provided. You affix the 2 cuphooks to your wall (plastic screw anchors are provided if needed) and presto, you're finished. It's easy to measure the distance needed to install the cuphooks. I mention this because nowhere in the product description did I see any actual details about exactly what kind of hanging hardware was used. I wondered when I ordered this, and am passing on that information. I am posting a photo of the eyehook/cuphook.
The only complaint that I have is it arrived with one end of the box just slightly banged up, and some of the reeds on that end had been bent and/or broken. Not a big issue, but nevertheless an issue.

Beware on the material. Too good (cheap) to be true.
I LOVED these at first. Not now. Look at the pictures. I bought 2 of these on June 1, 2016. By August 25, 2016, they were destroyed or nearing it. They were placed out of the sun and wind and only actually used a couple times per week. The top yarn or whatever it is has ALL broke on one of them while the other is starting to break. Not sure what it's made out of but it didn't even last 3 months. Now I'm out a lot of money for extremely shoddy material workmanship. Look at the pictures and stay away.

Very easy installation. I bought this shade just as a ...
When the shade arrived I opened it in the kitchen and rolled it out on the floor (it's very windy here in Kansas) I pulled the string so it was rolled up,lined up the hooks marked where I wanted it on the porch. Screwed in the screw hooks that came with the shade and hung it up! Very easy installation. I bought this shade just as a sun diffuser on the back porch. We get the evening sun back there and it works perfect. Not complete sun block, but I also didn't need or want that.

Do not purchase. Absolute garbage!
Absolute piece of garbage. Ordered December 14, 2016, for the season now and VERY sorry, I did not open as soon as received.
The first thing that I spotted, when I pulled the shade out, was a sticker that states 2012 Standard (see image). So apparently, the stock has been sitting in BTA-MALL's warehouse for years and they were dumping old stock.
Bamboo, deteriorates over time and this is the very cheap, widely separated, type of shade. Many pieces were cracked and the gaps, quite apparent, even before attempting to hang. I figured, what the heck, let's get it up and see if it does the trick.
Well, never got to the hanging stage...
The pull cords ripped in half, as I was trying to roll it up, to begin measuring. I was concerned about the bamboo being old, but when the cords are so old, that they rip apart on the first use, that is really a piece of old garbage, BTA-MALL was looking to dump.

Southern Elegance Up North
I love this! Where I live these are very hard to find. But, of course, BTA-MALL solved that problem. These are very light weight and so easy to install. Took all of 1 minute! I put it outside on my front porch. It provides just enough privacy, while still permitting some light through the reeds. You can look out, but nobody can see you. That is my main reason for buying this outdoor blind. A tasteful way to escape those nosy neighbors,(you know who I mean.) Now I can sit on my porch and watch my blinds sway gently in the breeze while listening to the radio, reading, and just relaxing.

Attractive for privacy, a little too loose a weave for sun
If you want this blind for privacy then it is attractive and effective for that. If you want it for a sun shade it doesn't do as well because it has a very loose weave allowing a lot of sun through. The higher the sun climbs the more shade you get though and I do use it for sun, but I wish the weave were tighter.
This shade seemed so flimsy when it was first put up, but the hardware has lasted and it has not gotten brittle or torn or any damage from the sun. I've used it now through 2 very hot summers and it still looked nice up until it rained last month which caused some color fading in a striped way because it was rolled up.
In the fall I put it away. I make sure it is dry, roll it up and put it in the shed, then bring it out again in the spring. It is easy enough to hang up on the two hooks provided (they just screw in) and to lift it back off them again. The hooks are almost closed so there is little danger of it flying off in a wind, though I roll it up if it gets too windy.
When the blind is rolled up it stays up by itself like a blind in the house does. There is a piece of hardware you can wrap the cord around when the blind is rolled up. I wrap it around a couple of times then loop the rest so it is not on the ground nor makes a loop so low my dog gets caught in it. That has worked out well.

I ordered 3 of these and all 3 broke right away. The string and mechanism that pulls the shade up and down breaks right away. The mechanism or holder and pull through for the string is plastic and breaks right away. They are good for the money if you don't want to pull them up and down.

Not for everyday use.
Looks good in the kitchen window but it doesn't roll up and down easily. It's good for as a privacy shade or decorative use but if your going to keep pulling the shade up and down I would get something else. When we close the shade there's always one side remaining crooked. It doesn't close evenly, and it's a lot of work to get it straightened.

Lovely. Doesn't work
Purchased last month, but just got it hung. Two days later the pulley string snapped. Can't be fixed, now the shade is permanently unrolled. Waste of money. So disappointed.

2 Thumbs down!
Looks nothing like the item shown in the picture. It is very lightweight, and mostly all a light color. None of the beautiful shades of dark color on the items I received. The reeds are not very thick at all. Kind of like those little red stir sticks you use for your coffee, however I believe the stir sticks might be more sturdy. Reeds are not close together as shown in the picture. Lots of space in between. Made of thinly wrapped air, basically. They are not as heavy duty looking as they look in the picture, but I needed shades, and I didn't want to send them back and try something else. Not worth the money, I don't think. Maybe half what I paid would be more like it for the quality of the product. If you're looking for a quality product go somewhere else. Sorry, but that is the truth.
