After I figured out how to install it this worked great! You have to take off the back of the phone, remove the tiny screw that holds the small piece of plastic that holds the flap in place.

Perfect Fit, Easy Install, Great Buy!
I had purchased the Galaxy S5 when it was released and loved almost everything about the phone. Being a long time user of the Galaxy model line and refusal to sell My Soul to Apple. (No Offense to Apple Users, they make good products, but I just don't buy into the hype.) I did expect to eventually find a fault or something that was overlooked during design. Sure enough, the USB charging port cover, (required to make phone water resistant, via a rubber gasket on he backside of cover) is held on by a very flimsy, extremely thin piece of rubber. Needless to say after about a month of opening and closing it to charge the phone, it snapped. Clearly an oversight by Samsung, but I stand behind their products regardless, because they do make high quality electronics. And minor things do go wrong
What I could NOT understand, is why there was and nobody made a replacement cover. Months of waiting and nothing. Finally I found that ECS (East Coast Supply) has them and bought 3 immediately. Figuring, for the price and the fact I will probably snap another few down the road, why not. Well, it's been a couple months now and it's as good as the day I installed it.
It could just be luck, but the replacement cover is more durable then the one that came on the phone. Apparently, they made it stronger or maybe it's just my imagination or the fact I know to be more careful with the cover, I don't know for sure.
The installation of the new cover is insanely simple (less then 5 minutes) it's 1 small Phillips screw (use a PH 00 or PH 0 bit) pull the tab out, slide the new cover in, replace tab and screw and put the phone's cover back on. Done! PERFECT FIT TOO!!
I'd pick up an extra one just in case though. You never know. But so far I haven't needed the extras I bought and hopefully won't ever. But if you're rough on phones or let your smaller children use the phone it can very easily be ripped off if not careful. But only when the cover is in the open position. Otherwise it is (should be) a snug, secure fit flush with the case.

Good replacement piece to fix an annoying busted cover flap.
Great replacement port for the S5, definitely much cheaper than having your cell phone carrier fix.
A few things to note, no instructions were included, so here's a quick run down for those of you that aren't very handy, but want to perform this simple fix. You can do it, you can do it!
You're going to need a very small Phillips screwdriver.
Here are the abbreviated steps-
1. Remove the back casing of the phone to expose the battery, sd card area, etc.
2. Remove the small screw on the left side, which holds the remnants of your last port piece in place.
3. Lift out the section and the remnant of your broken port.
4. Place the new piece in, and replace the section you unscrewed.
5. Screw the section back in, replace the cover, and enjoy the smoothness of your phone once again.

Great purchase and easy to install
Great purchase and easy to install...I think this is stronger and better than the one that came with the phone!

Super easy to replace! 4 different Sprint locations here in Utah (including authorized reseller/repair shop) refused to fix the port. Samsung wanted the phone for an entire month to fix the port. I ordered this, and within 5 minutes of opening the package, my S5 was in perfect shape again.
Though this is ultra easy to replace, one must be careful to not destroy the waterproofing seal when pulling the old cover flap out and replacing with the new one.

Good as New
Comes with replacement screw and plastic retainer....my cover snapped towards the middle so I just loosed screw enough to remove stub and insert replacement piece. Be careful not to damage rubber seal under the screw. I have a micro screw driver set because it is a very small philips head and impossible to do with out proper tool. Doesn't come with instructions but if you google galaxy s5 charging port cover replacement there is excellent youtube videos that show you the exact procedure.

Works Great. I've included pictures/instructions on how replace this in less than 2 minutes.
While this product took a few weeks to arrive, and arrived in a small regular envelope that I would have normally threw away if I were not expecting a delivery... the product itself worked great, and was identical to the factory USB port cover. If you have never installed one of these USB port covers, I know it can be a little confusing, so I've highlighted some easy steps to follow.
You will need:
Your Samsung Galaxy S5
Your Replacement USB port cover
A small phillipshead screwdriver (I used a craftsmen 00 screwdriver)
Step 1: Remove your phone's case and back cover. Set aside.
Step 2: Use your small screwdriver on the bottom left screw (see picture)
Step 3: Remove the screw and remove the piece that the screw came out if (it's the strangely shaped piece). Set aside
Step 4: Insert your East Coast Supply Replacement USB Port Cover
Step 5: Re-insert the strangely shaped piece that the screw goes into, and screw it back into place.
Step 6: Re-apply the phone's back cover.
It's that easy. In short, you're only removing one screw, Inserting your replacement piece, and putting the screw back on. I hope this helped! Please comment if you have any questions.

Replacement cover A+++
Just purchased this 2 days ago and it's here. Very easy to replace. Make sure you have tiny screwdrivers like you would need for eye glasses.

Shipping time wasn't bad considering it came from China
Shipping time wasn't bad considering it came from China. Looks like OEM and fits perfectly. Installation was simple. Took 5-minutes (or less) to install. Samsung obviously knew this was an item that would easily break and made a way to fix it without pulling the whole phone apart. Very happy with this product and glad to have the port closed again. Thank you!
