LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. I cannot say enough how much I love this machine. I did a lot of research before purchasing this model, and I am so glad that I went with the 1,000 WATT Auto IQ. It is so powerful, it blends through ice cubes in seconds. It is incredibly easy to clean, I wash the blades after each use. I also love that they include travel cups, which makes it a piece of cake to bring to work in the morning or to the gym. I literally put the ingredients inside, press "blend" and go brush my teeth. When I come back, I switch out the caps and have a shake on my way to work. I also exercise a lot, six days a week, and the BlenderBottle for protein was getting super old. Now, the possibilities for different protein shakes are endless! Best investment that I've made in a long time--I feel like I've adopted a lifestyle change with one purchase. Thank you, thank you, Nutri Ninja! :-)

Nutri Ninja Auto IQ
The Nutri Ninja Auto IQ is amazing. It grinds though anything I put in it, which so far, has been frozen fruit for smoothies. While it has a sound level akin to jet exhaust (or a wood chipper), it is easy to operate and produces perfect smoothies in 60 seconds every time. I am reminded of the wood chipper scene in Fargo every time I use it, and actually have no doubt that with enough patience, one could dispose of a body with this thing.

Perfect for My Simple Needs:
Though there is a /bit/ of a "trick" to getting the lid on and it really can't completely emulsify frozen fruits, it works really well and, unlike the other Ninja product I owned, it's easy to clean. I use it almost every day. Getting around it not being able to blend frozen fruit into anything but flavored snow flurries that refuse to budge is easily handled by letting the fruit sit out for about 15 minutes. It's still plenty cold and blends easily. I've also used it on meat when making stuffing. Every now and then a chunk of something won't quite blend but it's not often enough for me not to love this product.

but yesterday I managed to pry out the rubber gasket in the blade assembly and there was a truly foul smell of rotten food
Inexpensive blender and does the job, but has a serious design flaw - food gets stuck in the crevasse of the blade assembly. It never occurred to me before, but yesterday I managed to pry out the rubber gasket in the blade assembly and there was a truly foul smell of rotten food, and the rubber seal had dark moldy looking gunk on it that will just not come off. It is very difficult to get the rubber seal out, and there is no mention of this at all in the user guide. Replacement blade assembly with seal go for over half the price I paid for the blender, if you buy on the manufacture site, and the ones listed on BTA-MALL for 13-20 bucks seem to be inferior knockoffs.
Giving it two stars because its cheap, does the job and hasn’t broken on me after 2yrs if use, but you really do get what you paid for.
The blender is also super loud, I either have to run out the kitchen after turning it on or cover my ears.

Do you like rot and mold with your food?
For a long time I never noticed that food was getting under the gasket on the lid that screws on and holds the blades. When I removed it, oh man lord, the smell was so bad. So, so bad. What a terrible design.
Also the noise, holy crap, it seriously could cause hearing damage. When I turn it on, I literally make a quick jolt out of the room until it stops. No joke. It shakes my entire house. Sometimes I'm surprised my neighbors haven't came over to check on me.
I actually donated the blender to Goodwill, and I'll be doing some research and purchasing a new one - NOT a Ninja.

Good blender but so very loud
The main points: This is a good blender and works very well as long as there is enough liquid in it. It is freaking LOUD though. Makes excellent smoothies, veggies are no match for this blender.
Additional info: Having the 3 different sized cups is very useful but the smallest cup is really only useful for smoothies for my 4 year old. The auto-IQ is very nice. I can start the blender and run away while covering my ears knowing I will come back to a perfectly blended smoothie. Also, being able to pop a to-go lid right on the container you blend it in is super useful. Overall, I am happy with my choice.

So quiet now...you won't even know it's there!
Hello my fellow BTA-MALLians!
Well...it worked great for two months. Now it wants to "torque" itself off now and dislodges itself from the mechanical shut-off sensors seconds after I click it into place to start it. Seems like a design flaw that was seriously overlooked by the manufacturer. I called them to replace it and apparently I have to wait 4-6 weeks because they're out of stock. Lovely. Now that it sits on my counter basically unused (unless I want to hold it while it rattles my teeth), it's so quiet now...it really IS a Ninja!

I love how it blends or crushes everything
I love how it blends or crushes everything. It is very powerful, but it is not steady when working. It will bounce and shake too much, like actually bouncing. Is not normal or right. I think it is defective. I tried to contact them but there is no contact seller link and even though they sent me an email asking me how my experience was.. I can only tell them now, so the options are only to write a review to the seller or the product, so here I am, trying to reach them. Please contact me! Thanks

Reviewed and compared similar products, liked the idea of the Auto IQ and powerful motor. I use this daily and have not been disappointed. I put fresh/frozen fruit, vegetables, seeds/nuts, along with various liquids and each time it has prepared my beverage exceptionally well. Also, the 3 varied sized cups, with drink lids, is a nice bonus, you can make one drink, or more to share without having to use a large blender. It is a little noisy, but what powerful blender type device isn't. After using at least once daily for several weeks, I have no complaints, plus it looks nice on the counter, you don't need to put it away.

This gadget is very useful and well worth the money! I've only had it a few days and have only made a few protein shakes/smoothies, but it does a marvelous job and oh so quick and easy. I plan to put it through its paces this weekend and I fully expect it to do a bang-up job.
Initially I was afraid it would be just another gadget that I wouldn't use that much and would be relegated to the back or top storage of the pantry. Not so, I made a place for it, in the most practical space for quick, frequent use.
I was ready to be shocked at the noise, but found it no worse than my Oster blender (which won't get much use now and will be moved the top or back shelf).
The Nutri Ninja Auto IQ appears to be sturdily made and fine quality. Suction cups on the bottom keep it from traveling across the counter. Fill the cup, screw on the blade, invert, pop it in the base, turn it and blend. It's really well done.
I noticed at ninjakitchen.com that you can purchase replacement parts (blade, cups, lids) for a very reasonable price, and that the cups, lids and blades are interchangeable with some of the other similar Nutra Ninja models. So if your Nutra Ninja Pro or 1000 didn't come with a 32 oz cup you can purchase one for $17. If I remember correctly a replacement blade is $20. That was important to me to be able to replace the blade or cups if necessary. You'll enjoy the 32 oz to get all of the fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds in there.
There was no stopping to scrape the sides, shake or try to position the contents to get into the game.
Loved that I drank my protein shake right out of the same container, rinsed the cup & blade and was on my way.
I'd recommend it to anyone. Have fun, be healthy, but make some fun treats with it too!
