Clean Machine doormat
I bought the charcoal grey doormat. The mat is actually black with medium grey stripes. This mat is comprised of 3/4 inch tall plastic bristles which are basically flat blades that are formed to be bent in all directions. The mat is very light weight compared to all other types of mats that I have had. The backing is 1/16th inch thick, which is very thin and should be much thicker in my opinion. You can walk on it bare foot without any problem, but I would not like to stand on it bare foot for any length of time. I expect that it will knock more dirt and sand off of shoes than other mats that I have had. It will no doubt help keep the floors in my house cleaner and in better shape. This mat is more industrial looking and functional than it is decorative. I will update how well it holds up at a later date. Update: If it gets windy this mat will move or hump up in the middle. I hope this review helps

BEST DOORMAT YOU CAN BUY!
This is exactly what I have been looking for! I already had a small door mat made of this same material, but had never been able to find another one anywhere. I found this company on BTA-MALL.com, and ordered this large doormat. It is absolutely the BEST method for cleaning shoes ever! The one I already had has lasted about a decade, and all I have to do is hose it off periodically in the summertime and it is just like new. The best feature, besides how well it cleans the dirt off your shoes, is that it never becomes matted down. You will never find a better method for getting the mud and debris off your shoes before going inside. The color matches my house perfectly and really complements the decor. Very quality product. Will be purchasing more soon, one for each entrance.

Great for camping... and if you keep chickens or otherwise need to scrub the soles of your shoes, read this review!
OMG this was a LIFESAVER at the 4-day regional burning man camping event my husband and I attended back in the late spring. The forecast was for rain every day of the event so I went franticly looking for large-sized scrubby plastic doormats and was thrilled to find this one. I found and ordered it in the nick of time; it arrived the afternoon before we left, whew! The daily rain and frequent foot traffic reduced the ground in front of everyone's tent doors to mud by the first day... and the roads/trails at the event were CRAZY muddy so our boots were caked with mud. I don't know what we would have done without this mat and several people wished like H-E double L that they had one. The mat's backing is waterproof so the mud didn't squelch up through it, either.
The other purpose I bought this for was to set it up in the high traffic spot near the outside spigot in our back yard to cover the bare dirt- and more importantly to provide a shoe cleaning area for us to get the chicken poo out of the treads of our shoes. The ground in that spot slopes just a little bit towards the back yard so we can do exactly what I had in mind: use the garden hose with the mat to truly scrub the soles of our shoes clean. When used with a low pressure hose-end fitting such as a rosette watering head (or just the hose with no end fitting at all), the water flows beneath the tips of the pile so you can scrub the soles of your shoes without getting the sides/tops wet! The pile is high enough so you can turn your foot to get the side edge of the sole as well, again without getting the top or upper sides of the shoe wet. If you keep the hose end low--an inch or two above the mat--there's not even any splatter. The incline of our spot lets the dirty water flow right under our shoes and out into the yard. WE LOVE IT! Friends who use it give it are super impressed as well. I've been wanting to make something like this for 2-3 years but what I had in mind would have required wood cutting and construction, so you can imagine my delight to find such a simple, easy, effective solution. Sorry to blabber on about this but holy wow if you're looking for a great way to get the soles of your shoes clean this setup is the bomb!
Would totally recommend and we'll be purchasing 1-2 more for future camping trips (as "glampers" we sometimes set up gratuitously large camps and need more than one for sure.) I'd describe my satisfaction with this purchase as "over the moon happy".

Matless in Montana. . .
It was just the size I was looking for but too light weight. Every time the wind blew, which in Montana is almost every day, it rolled up and we couldn't get the screen door open over the roll. We found it down the street a couple of times and the last wind took it to who knows where. I bought another mat at Sam's Club for half the price and it doesn't move unless we move it. If you live in a windy area don't even think about buying this mat.

This is absolutely THE BEST dirt and mud catcher for an approach to the door I have ever used. Wears like iron. The only critique I would make for this company is BRIGHT GREEN ASTROTURF is not the IN COLOR anymore. That went out with the '70s. Women want something subdued and neutral because decor outside is as important as what goes on inside the home. I would try to get back to the great charcoal color you made in a smaller mat, which I have, and make it in the larger ones for sure.

Big Heavy Duty Door Mat
The color in product photo is off; it is really charcoal.. darker than advertised; which is what I expected...
Its rugged, looks great and is very big.. exactly what I wanted.

who loved to lie on the mat outside the door
This mat is a large size and fits perfectly outside my den slider doors. It is attractive. My chief complaint is that my dog, who loved to lie on the mat outside the door, will no longer lay there because the matt has a plasticy feel and is very hard.
this matt did not last at all. It was so lightweight anytime the wind gusted it blew off the step, eventually being torn. A waste of money.

Gets the job done. Cats are enjoying it too.
Planning on putting this mat inside, I was a little worried my 2 cats would be loosing one of their favorite sunning spots. When I first put it out, they would just lay next to it. After a minute of me trying to show them "it's okay" by scratching it and stepping on it, they came around. My tabby really likes rubbing his face on it and rolling around, I think it a good 'I have an itch' place.
All in all, it gets the job done. I don't have to sweep twice a day anymore, and the cats still have their hangout spot.

This is the best door mat I have ever bought
This is the best door mat I have ever bought. I hesitated because of the price but it is worth every penny I paid. It is large and looks great at our entry. The best part is that it really works well to remove dirt from shoes with tread. The mat works as described and hold a lot of dirt in the deep "pile". I will be ordering another one for our other entry.

Take the reviews seriously that say it's too light. Any wind and this thing folds over on itself. If not for the shape of the front of my house, it would've flown away by now. Also, the edges are wavy and it won't flatten out. I thought that the 115 deg heat of the desert would help it lay down flat, but it has yet to.
