Great little bike. Just what I was looking for! I have a bad back/neck, so I'm limited in what I can do. Well worth the extra money rather than one of the less expensive ones. Important thing is the weight. Less than the 23 pds this one is, any less and the bike would move all over & be totally unstable. This one is just heavy enough & stable when peddling. I put it on a rubber mat so as not to make marks on rug & wrapped a resistance tube around the front legs to work on arms as I pedal. Bike is great for exercising arms too! Very smooth & quiet. Put together in 5 min

Quiet, pedals smoothly, sturdy, easy to transport
I chose this one after I had returned a simple, less expensive one. The first one did not pedal smoothly, no matter how much tension I had set. Pedaling on this Sunny device is smooth and comfortable. The tension knob works effectively, and I love the large display screen. The exerciser is extremely quiet when I use it. I love the handle on top for moving the device from room to room. The device is heavy enough to be substantial but not too heavy for me to move. The distance from pedal to pedal also is greater than that of the less expensive pedaler, so I get a better physical therapy benefit for my knees, hips, and shoulders. Love the hand grips on the pedals. The pedals also are comfortable for bare feet. My feet stay on the pedals with or without the straps, with or without shoes. I gave away an expensive recumbent stationary bike a couple of years ago because it took up so much space in the house. This exerciser pedals as well as that large one, but it hardly takes up any space, can be put away if desired, and can be used with any kind of seat. I bought it for physical therapy for my shoulder, knees, and hips -- I'm 61 and have arthritis. This is cheaper than just three co-payments for physical therapy. Yay! I started out with their machines and was released to do the rest at home. When I finish the therapy exercises, I'm going to continue using the Sunny bike for exercise, because it's actually kind of fun.

on 2016-11-06 Best investment for many hours in front of the computer!
Assembly of this unit was simple. There is a wrench tool included to tighten the bolts. This unit is kind of heavy, which is great because if it were too light, it would slide around too easily. I spend so much time in front of the computer that it had affected my health because I wasn't getting any exercise in. With this device, there is no excuse. It fits perfectly under my desk (make sure to compare dimensions of the height of this item to your desk). I have a clearance of 23 1/2" and it has been just enough height for me to use this comfortably. I have roller chairs so purchasing something like Slipstick CB840 3-1/4 Inch Bed Roller / Furniture Wheel Gripper Caster Cups (Set of 4) Caramel Color
was essential for securing my chair in place while using this exercise bike under my table without my chair rolling all over the place.
The different tension resistances are nice and click into place easily. Even at the highest setting, the resistance does not seem too bad and I can easily cycle if I'm pedaling slowly. If I pedal quickly at the highest tension setting, I'll start to build up a sweat after not too long, but if you're in the workplace using this, you probably don't want to go all out and smell like you just got out of the gym around your co-workers. At home alone, I can get in my workout in the morning while working on the computer and then just shower before heading to work. It's perfect for my needs. The non-slip feet seem to hold it securely in place on my chairmat with the edge of the unit against the wall. If I did not have it against the wall, it might slide around a little more than I'd probably like. A simple solution would be to place some strong double-sided tape along the bottom of the rubber feet. The digital display is powered by 2 AAA batteries and it is attached to the cycle so it is not removable. Also, there doesn't seem to be an on/off switch to the LED display so you'll have to remove your batteries when it's not in use to save on your battery life. However, if you leave the batteries in, it'll turn off by itself after about 5 minutes of inactivity. Likewise, if you leave the batteries in and the unit is off, the digital reader will turn on by itself and start measuring your activity if you start cycling. If I'm just cycling and don't care about the stats, I just leave the digital display alone with the batteries out. The foot straps securely hold your feet in place. Overall, the many benefits of this outweigh the minor design drawbacks. This is easily one of the best investments I've made.
-Adjustable tension easily clicks into place
-Digital device measures progress
-Footstraps hold feet in securely
-Must remove batteries to turn off digital device
-May slide around if not secured with tape or backed against wall

on 2016-01-06 Threading on the pedals prone to stripping - Be sure to tighten the pedals regularly, or use a commercial thread-locker
Even though the manufacturer states that this device is "not for therapeutic purposes," I bought it to help regain strength in my legs following double knee replacement surgery. It's great!
It was easy to set up (minimal assembly required), and the mechanism works smoothly and quietly. I really like the handle on top, which makes it super-easy to move. It's very sturdy, and heavy enough not to scoot around when being used.
So far, I've only used it on the lowest resistance setting. It does not freewheel at this setting, but requires a bit of force applied by the user. As I regain strength, I expect to increase the amount of resistance.
So far, the only unknown is durability, and this product gives every indication of being solidly built. So far, so good! I am very happy with this purchase.
Update: September 12, 2016
Love this machine! I have continued to use it regularly even though I am past the basic recovery stage following knee replacement surgery. I set a goal, and when I have achieved it, I turn the resistance up a notch, and start over. I have been using it for nine months now, and it is still working as smoothly and quietly as it did when first purchased.
Update: August 9, 2017
The right pedal fell off today. This is opposite of what most people have experienced with pedal problems. The threads are worn, and the pedal cannot be tightened. User Beware: tighten the pedals regularly, or use Loctite Heavy Duty Threadlocker, 0.2 oz, Blue 242, Single
when first assembling the unit, as suggested by one commenter. I've glued the pedal in place, but have no idea how long that "fix" will work. Very disappointed that this happened, as I really like this unit.
Update: Sept 12, 2017
Super glue, epoxy, and vinyl caulk (used sequentially, not simultaneously) all failed to hold the pedal in place. After I left a review on the manufacturer's website, the company very graciously sent me the parts to fix the bike. I was surprised, and thankful, since it's been almost two years since I bought it.
The problem: I simply did not have the hand and upper body strength needed to loosen the bolts so the new parts can be installed. So, I took the bike to the strongest people I know, my nephew and his wife. She's a Crossfit fanatic, they both do standup paddleboarding. I mean, these people are ripped. And they couldn't take it apart either. We all carefully followed the online instructional video provided by Sunny. A perfectly functioning machine was essentially reduced to a hunk of scrap metal because the %^#&* pedal couldn't be fixed. Into the dumpster it went.
I am not the only one who has had a problem with the threads on the pedals stripping. This is a common enough problem that Sunny should be taking it more seriously. Therefore, not wanting history to repeat itself, I bought a DeskCycle Desk Exercise Bike Pedal Exerciser, White
as a replacement. NOT happy.

I hate this machine. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, making me work and taking away time from my watching TV and eating ding dongs.
Seriously, this thing is built like a tank. The digital display could be more interesting if it displayed things like "Hurry, the zombies are right behind you!" or "You are close to being eaten by tigers!" or "Next time lay off the potato chips!"
It's an exercise machine. No one with half a brain and a twinkie in one hand likes to exercise. But it does exactly that. It was money well spent, but dang I want a twinkie.

Very satisfied with my buy
My daughter has spasticity in her left hand and needed something like this to exercise with 2-3 tines a day.
This Sunny equipment is sturdy and light enough to move around the house.
My only small problem was that it moves on the table when my daughter is pedaling with hands.
We placed an exercise rubber mat underneath which eliminated the problem.
In 2 mts I would know how effective it is for her spasticity.

I like it very well
I like it very well. It is very smooth and quite most of the time. It develops a slight knock occasionally but can ride it in reverse a few rounds and it is quite again. Overall, very satisfied and seems to be a quality product.

Peddling at my desk as we speak
I purchased this at the beginning of the week and received it yesterday, I am hooked already! I had done alot of research and read alot of reviews before choosing this one. I did it for a total of 2 hours at my desk and my legs are burning today... in a good way! I immediately felt my body temp rise when i started peddling after about 5 mins. I walk 3 miles a day on my break and sit for the entire day at a desk so this is perfect for me! I posted the photo of the bike on my facebook and at least 10 friends are buying it after asking me for the link. It took me 5 mins to put together ( legs and food pedal straps) it is very sturdy and not too heavy to move around. I am obsessed and highly recommend it! I am peddling as we speak!

Great quiet cycle, though a bit tall for some applications
I love this thing for watching TV or sitting at my desk working and trying to get a bit of extra exercise. My only real complaint is that it's a bit tall, so for a short desk or a tall person it may not be possible to place under the desk and be able to cycle without your knees hitting the table.
I did have some problems with it sliding (especially on hardwood floor), but I solved that by attaching some rope to the handle so I can hold it in place while cycling.
The magnetic tension knob for increasing the workout is pretty good, although I honestly wish I could make it even tougher! But it does work and is totally silent compared to general background noise, and for endurance cycling it works really well. I barely use the indicator that tracks the speed, time, calories, but I suppose some people would get good use out of it.

Just do it!
This bike is quiet and tiny but powerful! Perfect for using while watching TV or movies in the living room. And a shout out for the handle design which makes this heavy quality piece of equipment ifinitely more portable. Good purchase! I would not use this at a desk job because I don't want to sweat during the work day the way I do during a gym workout.
