Everything I want in a day pack for a great price
So far this pack is perfect for the price. I've used it on a couple trips around town on the bike and two ~5 hour hikes as a day pack with a hydration bladder in it. Its a very good sized day pack (id guess around ~30L), and if you pack right it could probably be used for an overnight bag too. I had to carry my dog for a couple miles on one of the hikes because of a cut paw and it worked surprisingly well for that, the frame sheet offered plenty of support even though my dog plus the gear in the pack was about 50 lbs. I wouldnt want to do a long hike like that but in a pinch it worked! The bottom portion of the pack can be separated by a drawstring closure thing on the inside, which is great for keeping cloths/sleeping bag away from the rest of the gear. The main compartment on top seems a little oddly shaped at first but it works really well for getting access to all your gear quickly. I'll update this review after a get a lot more use out of it to address durability concerns, but so far its stupid good for the money.

Large Adult Sized Comfortable Bag
This is an awesome bag. It could fit just about an unlimited amount of stuff with careful packing. It's definitely adult sized and large at that. I especially like the lumbar support straps and the chest strap. It keeps the bag secure and seems to take some of the weight off my shoulders. The design of the padding on the back lets air flow through and my back keeps cooler and a lot less sweaty than with other bags. The material of the bag and the zippers is high quality. I'd recommend this bag for hiking, cycling, camping, day trips, pretty much any occasion!

Comfortable for an all day urban trek
I purchased this backpack for the most rugged terrain a parent could face. A family trip to Disney World. This bag beat out 3 other bags due to the padded belt, shoulder straps, and large main pocket. The two other bags I purchased and returned were close in size, but the main pocket was split into much smaller compartments. The padded hip belt pockets were also large enough to fit a smartphone (the largest phone was at 5.2")
I was able to comfortably carry shoes, socks, snacks, a batty pack, camera, 2 water bottles, sunscreen, rain ponchos, first aid, and medicine for 3 people. A change of clothes for a 6 year old were thrown in as well. The mesh back and lumbar support kept the pack off my back and I had very little sweating (due to the pack) even though it was in the upper 80's with high humidity. I could feel the back panel flex a bit near the top, but it was not uncomfortable
Thanks to the Florida weather, I got to try out the included rain cover as well. It worked very well and kept the pack dry as we had rain showers off and on.
- Comfortable back and straps
- Roomy with good use of space
- Included Rain Fly with storage pocket
- Two good sized water bottle holders
- The vertical pocket in front is very slim and narrow. The largest part of the pocket is at the top. It's shaped like a lollipop and a little awkward to use
- The stitching on the compression straps could be a little beefier for my taste. As I compressed the pack down I felt like they were straining a little too much
I don't know if this would hold up to a 5 day hike in the wilderness, but that's not what I bought it for and not what this review is about. For $40, it survived being a carry-on and a trip through the happiest place on earth loaded for 2.5 people. I could not find a similar sized pack, with close to the same options, from one of the "Major Brands" without spending double.

For a cheap bag this worked great. Awkward pocket shapes
For a cheap bag this worked great. Awkward pocket shapes, but it works. Don't try to stuff the pockets full because the seams WILL tear.

This bag has more room than I expected. I've been using it to carry my stuff to/from work and it is perfect to carry everything I need to cart back and forth each day. The waist belt is a little high, so I'm not sure how it well it will work for day hiking.
Even if it I decide I don't want to use it for day hiking, I'm still very happy with the size and quality of this bag for day-to-day use to/from work.

Wow what an amazing bag. I got a great deal on this nifty bag. I love the compartments it has. I had the pack loaded and heavy and it was amazing on the back with support and cishan. I was very surprised in what I got with what I paid for it, it's well worth more. I highly recommend the backpack.

Perfect short to mid-range hiking pack for my wife
Perfect short to mid-range hiking pack for my wife, probably not sufficient for an over-nighter. Adjustable for load-bearing/height/chest/waist, will hold a Camelbak properly packed, convenient external side pouches, internally compartmentalized, & comes w/free rain cover. Appears as though it will hold up just fine. For the price, it's a steal.
