Cool scan tool
I was worried after seeing all the reviews from the other manufacturers of the same looking box. But figured I'd give it a try.
I'm glad I did. It works perfectly. Plugged it in, red light comes on, paired it with the phone and password "1234" and the Torque app on my Android phone started communicating with it immediately. It blinks a lot of lights when it's communicating. Although, I don't really see them as in my car the adapter is turned with the lights toward the door when it's closed. No big deal, it's probably better that way, no crazy blinking lights at night. The adapter does become a little warm after use, but not hot.
I have not decided yet if I should leave it plugged in when I don't drive. The adapter stays on with one red light lit (obviously the OBDII port is active when the car is turned off for fault analysis etc...) but I'm not sure how much power the adapter is pulling when idle and I don't want to have a dead battery when I get in the car one morning.
Pros Easy to Use, high quality and works great
Cons: none I've found so far

Great little tool
My boyfriend has had one of these for a couple of year and finally encouraged me to buy one for my car. He uses his all of the time. I haven't set up all of my options yet. What I do know is it is great to find out what code your car is throwing so that you can look it up and see what is going on, it also allows you to clear the code. My boyfriend uses his all the time to make sure his car is tuned properly. Both of us hae Samsung hone and we downloaded the app and paired the app with the scanner using the buetooth. My boyfirned also uses his tablet so that he can see the dials on a bigger screen. Works perfectly. We both have Pontiacs (Grand Prix GXP and G8 GT). As another reviewer mentiond, we also use Torque Pro. A must have for any car enthusiast.

Works great, CHEAP tool!
Works like a champ! Plugged it in, it asked the phone for a bluetooth pin number in order to pair ("1234"), started the Torque app., it connected, works perfectly.
If you don't get proper readings in the Torque app., your car probably doesn't have a sensor for that particular function (example from pic: My car doesn't have a Air Temp sensor). Works with '99 Mazda MX-5 Miata.

Just What I Needed
Like another reviewer I was a little concerned by the negative reviews but figured for $10 why not give it a shot? I did notice that many of the negative reviews were from iPhone users upset that it didn't work with their iPhones even though the description states Windows and Android only (maybe this was added). Anyway, I had it hooked up to our 2013 Chrysler minivan and paired with my Note 8 in a couple of minutes. When I opened the torque app it was already showing data from the vehicle. I called up the fault code, had it translated to a description (emissive control system leak aka loose gas cap), fixed the problem and reset the fault. Certainly faster and cheaper than taking it somewhere. If you've got an Android device and your car model falls in the designated years this should be a no brainer.

Does not work on ALL cars
Did not work with my 2000 mustang. It did however work on my cousins 2013 charger. Would be a great product if it didn't guarantee that it works with ALL 1996 or newer cars. But on the other hand I was surprised how great the customer service was. They called me and gave me a refund for it. Best part is they let me keep the product so I could give it as a gift.

New technology works great
Worked great with might Samsung S5 Android for 2001 Audi 2.7T and 2013 Audi Quattro S6. I suggest that you skip the disc drivers and go straight to Google Play Store to download drivers either the free version (which works for codes) or pay for the more robust version.

A great product and a real value!
When I first plugged the device in, I could not get it to pair with my Android phone. I put it aside to play with at a later time. The next day, out of the blue, the supplier called me and asked how I liked the scanner. I told the caller I could not get it to pair, but I would try again later. She sent me a link to a YouTube tutorial and offered a full refund if I wanted it.
I followed the steps on the tutorial and everything works just fine now. I am most pleased when i get unexpectedly good customer service as I did from this supplier.
The software that comes with the scanner is easy to use and understand. I have to explore the depths of the interface to see what all it can do. I can really see what is happening under the hood of my new 2015 Chevy Volt.
I highly recommend this product for anyone and can't speak highly enough about the quality of customer service.

Do not buy
Plugged it in and it detected the device but it did not connect. Plugged in my friends obd2 device that he bought for $23 dollars from amazon and it worked like a charm. On top of that it messed up my ecu for a little, my whole cluster was messing up so I had to reset my ecu. Oh, and also, I had to pay 4 dollars for return shipping. Worst Experiance ever. Pay the extra ten dollars and get the better product from another seller.

Great product, it works with my Jetta 2001
Great product, it works with my Jetta 2001, it provides you with the codes so you can go on and use a manual or search on the internet for the information and then evaluate if you can fix it or if its better to take it to a professional.
It very easy to use, just plug it in, download torque app on your cellphone, and pair the device, after that its pretty straight forward.
