The rare perfect gift
I bought these scarves as house gifts for longtime close friends I visited in England--specifically for their son's quite special lady friend. I was as overwhelmed as she was by the stunning quality, which we were both seeing for the f first time. There were two scarves of sheer, almost floating silk, whose color ranges stood out and subtly blended in the gossamer transparency. She tried them both, and each was an encounter of their beauty with hers. I blushed when she said the gift was perfect and an utter surprise. The joy was felt by all of us.

Note to Vendor---DO NOT PUBLISH AS A REVIEW
I am an artist and quilt maker and appreciate the time and love which goes into creating art by hand. However, I bought the scarves based on description and photos. When they arrived, the two scarves were folded tightly together and were so loosely woven, and so stiff and coarse that I thought I had received half of one scarf. I finally got everything undone. I expected an entirely different fabric. The closest I can come to describing the fabric is insubstantial burlap. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with the item except that I can't use it as a scarf. I may cut it into lengths and crochet them into a fiber project---I certainly won't waste hand spun silk. To satisfy your US target market, I think you need to redo how you wrap and deliver the product, and you need to revise your product description on the BTA-MALL sales page. The scarf itself could be improved by increasing the thread count per inch, and by making it longer. I'm sending my best regards to the artist who made the scarf, and wish you much success.

Blue Fantasy 100% silk scarf
Received very quickly , the next day actually. My scarf is very pretty, "blue fantasy" the weave is gauzy and light, a spring/summer weight. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful, perfect scarves, very light, elegant and textural. I got huge compliments on these worn with an open weave texture linen shirt.

The colors and fabric texture are great. Not too bulky. Can give a boost to any outfit.

Very nice, not perfect
I do love these scarves, but there are some things that I wish were different.
It is pretty impossible to have it all, as you will see.
The silk is good quality silk gauze. Silk being one of the strongest fibers, it would be fairly difficult to tear them, but, being gauze, it is very easy to snag. In addition, the gauze tends to stick to itself like...well, like gauze. Not the end of the world, but every now and then I feel like I have to kind of pull or shake out the scarf, to readjust it because of that.
So it is the sticking together and the easily snagged issues that I wish were different.
As I said, it isn't a big deal, because after all, you have to readjust any scarf fairly often (or maybe that's just me).
On the other hand, the very things that make it wispy and breathable, light and very wearable in hot weather are the things that cause those perceived drawbacks, so relatively speaking, I would prefer to deal with the bad, while enjoying the good.
They are offered in another color as well, and I have found / created some nice looking combos with them in various braids and twists.
They are extremely lightweight, which is great if you are like me and tend to overheat easily and often.
I find that there are many outfits that I can wear just one of them with, but they look nice together as well. Summery, light weight tops call for summery, light weight scarves, so this is perfect for the rapidly approaching warm Spring and Summer weather.
The colors are quite lovely, exactly as pictured, and the length seems the same as the pictures as well.
If you are not acquainted with Novica, you should know that they showcase private artists and small business persons who are struggling to build a good life in less than perfect circumstances, far and wide.
Along with the scarves you will be receiving a small pamphlet / tag that tells you a bit about the artist or business from which the item comes.
This is true of all Novica items. If you are not yet familiar with Novica, I would suggest taking a look at their website. They have a lot of very unique and handmade items to see, and buy, if you are like me. I have many scarves and some jewelry from Novica, and have never been disappointed with anything I have bought.
I did receive this product at a discount, with no expectation of a positive review.

VERY loose weave, more like cheese cloth
I seem to be an odd man out, but I really was not overly impressed with these scarves. They may be silk, but it's silk cheese cloth as far as I am concerned. The weave is so open and loose that anything that touches it is apt to snag it. I'm half afraid to wear it, and with dogs, I'm afraid I'd not even put it on until I was out the door for fear of a dog's nail snagging it.
If you like the effect of ombre dyed cheese cloth with a twisted fringe on each end, you'll love these scarves. If you tend towards more finished looks, this may not be any more your thing than mine. It is long, and it may look far more attractive knotted as a loose tie sort of thing, as it does hang well, even when somewhat twisted. That loose weave is just too loose for my tastes, and I would have been unlikely to order them had I realized that prior to placing the order. They are pretty, they are lightweight, and they won't add a lot of warmth, which is a positive thing for wearing scarves in the South.
I did purchase this scarf pair with a promotional discount in exchange for my honest review. All of my reviews are always my honest opinion, regardless of any discount I may receive. I am never paid to write reviews.

BEAUTIFUL VIBRANT COLORS
These scarves are made from 100% silk and offer gradient color in beautiful hues of green, purple and blue. They are an original Novica fair trade product in association with National Geographic. Each pair of scarves comes with an official Novica story card that certifies their quality and authenticity. Novica worked with the designer Vinita from Thailand to craft this item. Each pair is crafted with care, so they can be treasured as a keepsake for many years to come.
For the purpose of this review entry, I decided to share part of an article that was published by WikiHow titled How to Tie a Silk Scarf. There are two main parts to this article, however, I am only going to be sharing the second part.
Silk scarves are a wardrobe staple. They add color, texture, and interest to any outfit, and are the perfect accessory for cooler weather. However, square silk scarves can be tricky to tie and longer scarves a bit intimidating. Try one of these many styles of tying your favorite silk scarf to enhance any style.
Method 2 of 2: Tying a Rectangular Scarf
DO A SIMPLE WRAP
Pick your scarf up loosely to create natural folds in the fabric. Wrap the scarf around your neck a single time, and then tug at the loop you’ve created to drape it over your chest.
TIE IN A HACKING KNOT
Fold your scarf in half, creating a loop at one end with two tail pieces at the other. Wrap the scarf around your neck so that both the loop and tails are in the front above your chest. Then, pull the two ends through the loop, and adjust the fabric to your liking.
CREATE AN INFINITY SCARF
Lay your scarf out flat on a smooth surface. Fold it in half and tie each set of corners together to create a large loop. Then, wrap the scarf around your neck, multiple times if necessary, so that no loose ends are left dangling down.
TIE A FAUX KNOT
Wrap your scarf around your neck so that both the tail ends are laying across your chest. Pick up one end of the scarf, and tie a loose knot in the middle of it. Then, slide the other tail end through the center of the knot. The knot can be moved up or down to create a tighter effect on the fabric.
SCARF BRAID THE TAIL ENDS
Create a hacking knot around your neck with the scarf by folding it in half, looping it around your neck, and then sticking the tail ends through the loop. However, instead of putting both tail ends in the loop, place a single tail end through. Then pick up the loop and twist it 180 degrees to create a second loop. Put the second tail end through this loop, twist it 180 degrees again, and then repeat the process with the other tail end. Do this until you run out of fabric.
CREATE A LAYERED LOOP EFFECT
Drape your scarf around your neck so that both tail ends are in the front, but adjust them so that the right side is twice as long as the left. Then, wrap the right end across the left, and pull the right end up through the gap created below your neck. However, pull the right end from the middle, and drape the loop that you’ve pulled up over the left tail end. You should be left with a small, flat loop draped over the left tail end (the short right tail end is hidden behind the loop).
TIE IT LIKE A TIE
Wrap your scarf around your neck but adjust the lengths so that the right end is twice as long as the left end. Wrap the right end around the left in a complete loop, and then cross it across the left end again. Instead of wrapping it all the way around the left again, pull it up through the center hole (below your neck) and then tuck the tail end into the loop you’ve just made by wrapping it around the tail. Pull the right end through and adjust the fabric to your liking.
CHAIN KNOT THE SCARF
Drape your scarf around your neck so that both ends are laying across your chest. Tie them together in a single knot, adjusting it to a height of your liking. Then continue adding knots to create a chain, stopping when you run out of fabric or like the appearance of the scarf chain.
MAKE A TIED CAPE
Unfold your scarf completely so that it is totally flat. Drape it over your shoulders like a cape or shawl. Then, grab the two ends and tie them together in a double knot in the front.
TIE IT IN A BOW
A long scarf is perfect for a big, flouncy bow. Tie the scarf around your neck in a loose knot, and slide it to the side a bit. Then use the ends to create the classic bunny-eared bow. Spread out the fabric a bit and loosen the bow for a more casual look.
I really enjoyed reading the article above because there are many times I want to wear a scarf, yet can't think of an interesting way to wear it except simply looped and that tends to get a bit boring after awhile. I love these scarves because they are extremely lightweight so you can wear them all year long. Not to mention they go with nearly every outfit I own.

Very good but not amazing
The colors are lovely and the scarves are really lightweight. I like that you can wear them together or separately for different looks. I would have liked the colors to be a bit more vibrant. Also the fabric is not as soft as some other Thai silk scarves I have. It feels more like a loose weave cotton.

Very thin ,like gauze, pretty color but thin enough that you see through them. Fabric felt like cotton gauze.
Very thin ,like gauze, pretty color but thin enough that you see through them. Fabric felt like cotton gauze. Perhaps I did not read it close enough in the description but it is THIN. And again the colors are pretty like the picture. I just cant give it an excellent rating due to the thinness. A Coupon Code was provided for my evaluation purposes and thereby providing a typical product example that you can expect. My opinion reflects all my own personal purchasing decision processes and reactions, and hopefully may help clarify if this best meets your own needs and expectations.
