Great Price And Product
When you purchase something cheap, you basically get what you paid for. Surprisingly this cheap product is a sturdy and strong product. I'm a 250lb Samoan male "trying" to do hip hop stepper cardio exercises and so far, I haven't broken it LOL!!! That being said... It's a great product to me.

I was hesitant to purchase this, because it costs about $40-$50 less than most of the other steps with great reviews. But if you're like me, there's no way I was going to pay $75 or $80 for an aerobic step. I was not disappointed with this at all. This is actually a decent step. I was worried it would be small, but it's definitely big enough for my needs. The build quality is OK. It's pretty much just hard plastic. Probably not as durable as most of the steps I've used at the gym. But still well worth the money in my opinion. Only thing I wish is it came with additional risers to stack higher when needed. The top is grooved plastic, and not rubber. I haven't had any issues with it being slippery, but it's definitely not as good as one with a rubber top. Also, it just sits on the two gray risers it comes with. They don't snap into place or anything. So every time you pick up the step to move it, you have to move all three pieces separately.

The step is perfect for my Phillip Weeden workout!!! I would recommend it.

Sturdy, good size
This is a good quality budget step for anyone new to step or fitness programs and doesn't want to invest a lot until you've made the commitment. The size is good and the plastic is sturdy and supports up to 275 pounds. It's not perfect, but it's good for the price.
.. The top of the step has thin grooves across the top that help your shoes grip and not slip.
.. Ample size for step routines
.. Not large enough to lay on, like other platforms, so limits movements
.. Small rubber feet don't offer much non-slip protection
Overall, this is an okay step. There are better models available, but not everyone needs the same type of platform. I don't love it, but I do like it.

I get a good aerobic workout when using this to exercise with some of the videos on YouTube. I bought this model because it has a smaller footprint and doesn't take up as much space as the wider one. In retrospect, I should have ordered the wider one for a more effective workout. I knocked off one star because there are certain workout steps that can't be performed on this because it's not wide enough. I knocked off a second star because the platform just rests on the two bottom steps as opposed to locking into place. The bottom steps stay in place while you're working out on it, however, because they don't lock in place, it is difficult to pick it up and move it as one unit. If you have the space, I recommend that you purchase the standard (wider width) step aerobic platform.

Good for the price but not my favorite
Well I like this step but the risers don't lock in place so it's awkward to move it- it definitely does not move in one piece. My old one locked & the plastic was tougher. This one is sturdy but not made nearly as well as the one I had- which my hubby accidentally gave to the thrift store :0). If I had to make this purchase again, it's a good product for the price but I would have paid more for locking pieces.

Good Step at a great price.
This step is perfect for my needs. It's a no nonsense sturdy plastic stepper that I use for home workouts when I want to do cardio but don't have the extra time to drive back and forth to the gym. I love it. I started supplementing at home with On Demand cardio videos when I came across a Step workout and thought "how retro! I have to do this!" I remembered how much I loved Step Aerobics back in the 90's before Kick Boxing, Spin, and Zoomba edged it out at my gym and I was excited to do step again. I had a step from the days of yore but it was long gone. Enter this cute little number that fills the bill perfectly. I've only had it a few weeks but I've used it plenty already. The one set of risers is sufficient for the moment but it's good to know I can purchase a second set if I want to ramp it up. (I probably won't need them since, lets face it, I'm 25 years older than I was when I was the Step Aerobics Queen at the Y) In the meantime I am finding lots of step workouts on YouTube and having a ball doing them with this Step.

You get what you pay for - CHEAP
You get what you pay for... what attracted me to this model was the price. I either sit or stand in place at work, so I wanted something that I could easily put out of my way when working, and pull out easily when it's slow at work so I can get some steps in. First of all, this is huge! I checked the measurements before I ordered it, but its still so much bigger than I anticipated! It barely fits under my desk. And there's next to no grip - the little rubber soles on the bottom and the grooves on top don't do much to prevent slippage. That works fine for me since I'm not looking to work up a sweat at work, but this would not be ideal for someone going at a fast pace. And the worst part is that the risers don't even lock or snap into place - the black base just sits on top of them, so if I move it to get it out of my way, I'm juggling three pieces instead of one. And why is the whole thing twice the price if I want two extra risers?? Glad I only got the model with one set of risers so I didn't waste more of my money! I'm keeping it because I need it, but glad I'm only out 20 bucks.

Too small to me
Too small and cost same amount of money as the large one. I ordered the large gym size and it was $2 more. More sturdy and made better. Really don’t like the little one. Also big one has rubber top. Maybe for a small person. I attached a photo for you to compare

Every time I step it's like a hammer pounding
Holy noise, Batman! There's no rubber pad on the top of this platform. Every time I step it's like a hammer pounding! I tried removing the risers, thinking it was plastic on plastic- nope. (and before you think it's my size, I'm average height and just a bit overweight. Hence, the need for some cardio!) I may need to resort to wearing my earbuds while I step because of the constant noise from the base.
The platform is a good height and sturdy, but feels cheap and plasticky... because it is. It does the job, but it's not terribly enjoyable with the noise it makes. You get what you pay for.
