Works great, easy to use
Is super easy to use and very convenient. The OBD2 scanner just plugs in to the car and then depending on what kind of phone you have is what kind of connection you'll have. For me I have an iPhone 7 Plus and only had to do was plug it in going to my Wi-Fi find the Wi-Fi OBD2. There's multiple programs that are free to use in the Apple Store. Once it's all connected you'll see what the check engine light error is. So apps even let you reset the check engine light

You should carry in your car at all times!
I have older vehicles that will kick out check engine lights periodically. With this unit being so small I can easily have with me or can transfer between vehicles. Works with many apps and can identify problems that trigger the check engine light or can be used to diagnose how your engine is running/performing. Depending on the app you download, you can get information that can notify you of potential problems. Definitely use before you take your car to a mechanic, so that you can have an idea of what the issue should be. Nice little piece of hardware.

Great little tool that does a lot. Works great with the app. It works great in my Lexus and a buddy of mine car but I got it mainly for my 2010 F150 but I haven't been able to connect for some reason. It might to be made for my truck and I will call support and see. I still give it 5 stars because like I said it's great other than not connecting to my truck but I can't fault the manufacturer for that. I will see if they have one for my truck and keep the one I have for my Lexus. Just when you buy do what I didn't do and make sure it's compatible with your vehicle. If it is I do recommend this product.

Bought for the hubby
I bought this for my husband because he is a mechanic but does alot of at home side work and gets a little worried about carrying around his 10,000$ snap on scanner. So I found this affordable alternative. All you do is plug it in under your dash and connect it to your phone via Wi-Fi adapter. Reall y would recommend for any mechanic.

A lot more than just a code eraser, reader.
I was a little skeptical when I was searching for a cheap obd 2 reader. I need to say that I am impressed by this device. I use dash command with this device and both my iphone and ipad. I had no problems setting it up wi-fi with my devices and it starts right every time. Depending on what app you use you will have a different way to see info of your car. This will read everithing is available and supported by your obd system. I have a 2015 jetta and the only gages in my dash are for rpms and speed. With this device and dash command I am able to monitor air intake temp, catalytic converter temp, Map readings, air intake density, 02 sensors voltage, vehicle battery volts, and much more. The readings are accurate for the most part and the app lets you customize details like tire size and fuel capacity to calculate more things using sensor inputs in your obd system.

Works with Windown Phone just fine
I bought this item not expecting too much but it turned out to be a gem. It works fine with my iPhone but iPhone doesn't have any good free apps so I decided to try it on Windows Phone (Lumia 950X) and to my surprise it worked perfectly fine. Now I can use a rich free application on Windows Phone and not worry about fruit phone limitations.

Simple device works great, backed by excellent customer service
Works great with in my truck, in conjunction with the OBD Car Doctor iPhone app.
I initially had a problem using it, and Ace Deal bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my purchase. This item is currently backed by Ace Deal's excellent customer service.
I do wish this had an obvious light on the face so you could verify that it has power. If there is a light, I can't see it when it's plugged in and powered up. Still, this is a pretty amazing device for the money.

Rubbish - Worked briefly once
Rubbish. I spent an hour trying to get it to work with various apps, including the one they suggest on their site. It worked briefly once but then I couldn't get any of the ODB apps to connect to it. I followed the instructions perfectly, too, making the wifi a static IP address. When I it did seem to work the app took forever to get any information from the vehicle.

WiFi won't connect to ECU.
Doesn't work. I've tried everything and spent hours upon hour reading reviews and directions and YouTube videos trying to get this to connect. It connects to my device via WiFi.... but my cars ECU won't connect. It's a WiFi device but won't connect to the ECU.

Couldn't get it to connect to my iPhone.
I'm not going to slam this product with zero stars because the problem could have been my phone, but I could not get this to connect to my iPhone. I tried several different apps and none could connect to this using WiFi. I could get a wifi connection at the OS layer. But the app couldn't see the device.
Also, mine got very very warm after 15 minutes or so on the OBDII port.
I really needed it just to clear some DTCs, so I bought a simple stand alone unit for similar money.
