and love that the cord is inside the tent so I ...
I have been a user of Lightspeed Outdoor products such as shelters, picnic blankets, airbed, loungers, etc for a couple of years now. I had eyed this tent when it was first introduced but then they discontinued it and improved upon it, and now it's back so I had to jump on it as we were doing our first overnight camping. Got a it a few days prior to our overnight camping. Watched the video on setup and takedown on YouTube - I think that was for the older model but very similar. I was able to pop it open in less than a minute, and love that the cord is inside the tent so I tied the knot to prevent someone from collapsing my tent if it was located on the exterior like the old model - love this new feature. And I also used the cord hanging from the ceiling to secure our camping lantern, multi-purpose for us. I love love love the large windows on the sides and rear that reach all the way up to the ceiling, great for hot summer nights and stargazing. I half zipped the windows and folded the hanging flap over in between the mesh and unzipped portion of the window and it was nice and neat looking and the zippers held up, great quality zippers, easy zip and unzip. I did it to provide a bit more privacy but still allow cross airflow. Then decide to zip them all up and put on the rainfly just in case we get rain or dew - because of the two mesh skylights towards the front, we still had plenty of airflow into the tent when it was all zipped up with the full rainfly over it. we also propped up the airvent on the rear panel of the rainfly. It was plenty comfortable. We had our full size/queen size Lightspeed Outdoors airbed inside flushed against one corner, leaving an L-shaped space to stow our backpacks, storage bags, etc. So easy to setup and take down, no extra poles and what not - especially welcoming for a newbie camper like myself. We camped on grass so in taking down the tent I noticed how wet the bottom of the tent touching the grass was but the floor inside was completely dry. We did not have rain so I cannot say much about the rainfly's function except it was so easy to put over the tent and with a click clipped on each corner to the tent and it was a perfect fit.

Except for one big thing this is a dandy of a tent..
This tent arrived at lightning speed. I was surprised at the speed. I recieved the tent and immediatly unboxed it and set it up. It's cute and the huge door and mesh windows are REALLY cool. But during the first little bit of wind one of the pop up pole joints broke. It's the pin that goes through it that was either broke or was loose to begin with. Fortunately, this isn't my first camp out so I used a heavy duty piece of wire to hold the joint together as well as tieing poles with paracord to secure them from the wind or in this case even a breeze. I was a little disappointed in the over all size of the tent but that's personal preference. The measurements are clear but most tents are just bigger these days.. This is a short tent.. The room inside is efficient with more than enough room for my queen sz blow up but there's not much height to it.. So if you're tall you may not be as happy with this.. The reason I'm giving this a four star rating is because aside from the height, which is a personal preference, and the pole joint, non negotiable, I think this is a dandy tent. Roomy inside with all kinds of star viewing area..and the huge door is a nice feature I haven't had on other tents. I'd buy this tent again even though the joint wasn't as solid as it should be.

You aren't going to entertain in this tent but if you want something quick- easy- and dependable this is a great tent.
My boys and i spent 4 nights in this tent and it was exactly as advertised. Set up and take down was a breeze and it fit BACK into the bag after. haha. . We had some weather come through and were snug and dry throughout. It was a little snug but we had camping cots. You aren't going to entertain in this tent but if you want something quick- easy- and dependable this is a great tent.

The size was good; however
I waited all summer for this to get back in stock. So excited when I finally got it. First camp out - while pushing the tent up to open one of the tent arms pinched the netting as it was going up and ripped a huge hole. I returned this one and tried again. The second tent upon opening broke the pins on 3 of the arms. You have to jimmy the legs to go the exact way they are intended to get them to go up properly and not break. Not much of an instant tent if you have to spend so much time worrying about delicate arms. With Coleman instant tent, the legs won't tangle - they just do what they're supposed to do everytime.
The size was good; however, the material is very thin and I worried about it ripping when my cot rubbed up against it while getting it in place. I really wanted this tent and thought it would be perfect. I was not. Needs to be made of sturdier materials all around - and make arms that just go up in one way and don't break on the first use!

My tiny wife can put this thing up in under a minute. It's roomy and looks cool. I especially like the fact that you can unzip all the surrounding "windows" and get a really awesome views at night! Took this thing camping and it was great! It's so easy to use that we actually set it up in our home a few times just to camp outside. My son loves playing in the tent.

This is the Best Car Camping Tent, Ever!!!
This is by far the best car camping tent I have ever seen! It is simple to put up- no more assembling tent poles and sliding them into clips or sleeves. You just lay it out, lift the center up, pull the center string and it pops into place! I do that all from the outside and I don't even get the inside dirty with my feet! How easy is that? It has super large screen windows that go way up all sides. It is like sleeping outside under the stars, but without the bugs! The materials and construction are well done, it has two personal item pockets and a rain fly. This is the perfect tent for us, and the price was competitive, too!

plastic poles will bend/break with wind
This tent looks great. However, if you use it in any kind of wind, it is no good. We have used it once and within 10 minutes of setting it up 2 of the poles had broken. They bent at the hinge because they are made of plastic. So, you get what you pay for. I will no longer crouch over trying to help my kids get dressed or get myself dressed ( I knew this tent was short when I bought it). A family of 4 will not fit in this very well. There really is only enough room for sleeping and not much space for stuff. We will be returning this tent for a tent with metal poles, extra room, and the ability to stand up in it. Good luck.

It was easy to set
I used this tent one time on a Trip to the Adirondack Mtns. It was easy to set. I tried it at home first. HOWEVER, like many others I had trouble with the poles. Right at the elbows where they lock in place, it's held together by cheap pins. Some popped out, and then would not lock back in place. Pin was lost. I would not recommend this product unless this design problem has been changed and improved. A tent is no good if it won't stay up!

I felt comfortable purchasing this tent from Lightspeed Outdoors
I decided to try this tent for two reasons: I really didn't want to spend time setting up a tent every time we camp, and the responses to customers was top-notch.
I felt comfortable purchasing this tent from Lightspeed Outdoors, with absolutely no prior knowledge of the company.
It really is as simple as it looks. I think I probably spent more time questioning if I did it right than actually setting it up.

Great tent tho
Foot of leg cracked. Returning and ordering a larger tent. Great tent tho. Easy setup. Hard to believe it's for 4 people. Not for entertaining or hanging out in...only space for just sleeping. Just fits our queen sized raised air mattress. No space for anything else. But if it's just 2-3 people in a sleeping bag it should be great.
