Good mount, take your time setting it up though.
This is a decent mount for the price. The only advice I would have is to be sure you line up the holes in the proper way so that the camera sits on top of the mount. I didn't do that and my camera has to now hang under the mount which somewhat restricts the movement. It's fine, just a minor annoyance.

Super value. Just use your own screws!
Does the job extremely well and is a great value. I haven't seen the official arlo mount that this is clearly a knock off of - but it seems to be identical.
The only downside (the reason for 4 star review) is the same issue with a lot of knock offs. The screws included are of terrible quality. But most of us have an extra few screws laying around :-)

Arrived on time, like it better than the authentic Arlo wall mount. ;)

Solid mount; good value
I have 5 Arlo cameras, but for some reason the purchase quantity was restricted on the Arlo Outdoor Security Mount when I went to buy them so I ended up with 4 of those and 1 of these. This mount is about half the price of the Arlo Outdoor Security Mount (as of this writing), but if I had it to do over again I'd probably buy 5 of these and save a few bucks. Yes, the mount is plastic and the Arlo mount is metal, but to be honest given the weight of the camera and the use case (statically mounted and only interrupted for battery changes) I don't see that being a drawback. I have only had them a couple of weeks so I'll update this review if I end up having a problem with the mount, but I think this is a solid choice for an outdoor Arlo mount. Some reviews mention the screws. I can't comment on those since I didn't try to use the screws from any of the mounts I purchased. I had a box of coarse thread outdoor screws in my workshop and grabbed those straightaway. I don't often use included screws for anything since they are often lackluster quality compared to what you have on hand or what your local home improvement store stocks.

Good mount, fast resolution to problems
I received a replacement mount pretty darn quick. It was flawless. Camera mounted without any difficulty this time.
Received my order of Aftermarket outdoor camera mounts. Immediately, I could tell the difference between the original and this mount. The weight is about 1/2 of the original. The description states more access to the USB port. Can't say for sure on that. The greatest dissatisfaction is the threaded mount that screws into the back of the camera does not screw all the way in. It acts as if it's either the wrong threads per inch or SAE vs Metric. Unable to mount the second camera because it was acting as if it was cross threading. Both the camera's threads seem ok and the threaded mount of the assembly seems ok. Just wouldn't thread and didn't want to ruin my Arlo Pro. So here we are

Good value for the money, but be careful when installing
These work very well for the money. Not super heavy duty, but work well with relatively lightweight cameras like our Arlo Pros. I've had several out in the weather for over a year and the chromed metal shows only light surface rust and NO camera slipping at all.
IMPORTANT TIP: If you are going to install the camera at an extreme angle to the wall, be careful. There is a notch in the base's metal that the ballhead shaft must slip into (see photos) for more extreme angles. This notch's position is not adjustable; when the base is tight enough to keep the camera from moving, the notch faces a fixed direction. If you just screw the mount into the wall and don't account for this, when you attach your camera, you may not be able to adjust in the right direction and will have to unscrew the mount, rotate it, and re-install it. This isn't a defect or poor design, just the nature of these inexpensive mounts.
HERE'S THE BETTER WAY: You'll need a pencil, your camera, the wall mount, a driver/drill and the supplied screws. Before installing the mount on the wall, attach the camera to the wall mount and then hold the cam/mount in desired position on the wall to get pretty close to the right view (if you can remotely view through your smartphone, this is much easier). Once in the right spot, FULLY TIGHTEN THE MOUNT's adjustment collar so that the camera can't move. Check your view again. If ok, trace around the circle of the base with a pencil and then place a hash mark on the line showing the notch's position. Now you can remove the camera and line up the mount with the traced circle, making sure that the notch is facing the hash mark, and screw the mount into the wall. This entire installation takes less time to do than reading these instructions!

Overall happy with the product and definite cost savings in comparison ...
Purchased these mounts for my Arlo security cameras for exterior mounting. The Arlo cameras fit onto these mounts and they do the job, however, one of the mounts I received was rather loose in the ball and joint section in comparison to the other one. Would have preferred both to be tighter but we got it to work nonetheless. Overall happy with the product and definite cost savings in comparison to the mounts sold by our camera manufacturer. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase more of these mounts if we decide to expand our system.
