36 Pens NOT 36 Colors
I love these pens/markers. They're nice colors with a good variety and they don't bleed through thin papers like moleskine notebooks. I wanted more colors than my 18 pack gave me, so I ordered the tropical vacation 36 pack. I didn't look at the pictures close enough and there's nothing in the description, but you DO NOT get 36 unique colors. You get 26 unique colors and 10 doubles. I attached a photo so you can see the colors and which are doubled.

10+ years of using these and I still LOVE them!
I saw that another reviewer is bothered by a quality change over the years but I have also been using these pens 10+ years and I still LOVE them. I have noted my observed changes in the product below.
PEN CASING: The shaft and casing for the old set has a fluted barrel and a white holder for the felt tip. The new barrels are smooth with a clear holder for the felt tip. I thought I would dislike this change in texture at first, but I have not found it to affect my writing in any negative way and I still find them easy to hold onto. I actually really like the changes. I purchased the 16-pack with wallet case. I did not realize that "wallet" meant that it comes with its own reusable plastic holder. I have shown this in the images and I love this feature!
TIP: The tip of my old set and new set are both medium thickness. The width is still very similar as you can see from the images.
SATURATION: Since my old set is, well, old, you can see from the text I wrote that they are starting to dry out a bit (especially the olive one). But hey! 10+ years and I am so pleased that these have lasted this long! I am super happy with the new set. You can see from the image that they obviously makes a smoother and more saturated line than my old set. They feel smoother to write with as well. I am also a LEFTY, so pen smearing is an issue with graphite pencils, gel pens, and other types of inks that don't dry to the paper immediately. These pens provide no smearing and are colorfast to page as soon as I write with them.
USAGE: I use them for note taking, calendar colorizing, old school letter writing, but mostly for drawing and creating custom typefaces for artwork and graphic design. Perhaps it just depends on what you need to use them for as to whether or not the change will bother you. For me, these pens are still my #1 brand. I have tried a number of other felt tip options and these are still the most awesome!
If you found my review helpful, please give me a YES below!

Best felt tip pens ever
Paper Mate FLAIR tropical vacation colors- I've always called these "felt tip" pens. I'm a pen, marker, pencil hoarder... These are my favorite everyday pen to write with, they write smoothly & have a satisfying feel. They work great for coloring but for that I use my prismacolors. This is a fun color set however with the 16 pack there is no orange! See photo for color guide I made with these pens.

No quality control on these pens
The 5 pack was great! Love the pens, but quality control is lacking on this large pack.
The lids on the large pack are noticeable bad. They have a gap, don't snap down like the ones I've bought previously, and are loose. I fear my favorite pens drying up before their time. I should have stuck with my five pack where it cost me a dollar per than trying to get a deal on this one to have more colors.

I got the 24 pack medium tip. I bought these for note taking and to color code my planner (Erin Condren LifePlanner). All of the colors in the 24 pack are different. They don't bleed through on my planner's pages and are easy to write with. The packaging was exactly as pictured.
They have a little heart detail on the handle (whatever you call it).
I did a bleed and smear test with zebra mildliners and stabilo boss originals and pastels.
I made up the color names for the pen test 😂 I don't know the actual names 😅
If these ever dry out, I'll probably buy more!

THESE WERE OPENED AND USED!
I received a package of pens that had been opened, taped back, and were used! The yellow didn’t even write at all, the light blue was darker than usual, and the other ones pictures were smooshed down! I cannot believe this.

Busted Navy Blue :(
I wouldve given this a 5 star review but one of the colors came completely busted! The navy blue was bubbling out the top and side holes and now my hands are covered in navy. I'm very disappointed since I love these pens and paid more than what they're selling for on amazon now. Thank goodness the colors I wanted the pack for were perfectly fine but I'm very dissapointed that one was busted.
Otherwise these are my favorite kind of pen. I use them for taking notes and writing exams. They dont seep through to the back of the paper unless you're pressing hard or leaving the pen in one spot for too long. I recommend these pens to all my friends. Most of my friends use these to color code notes and keep track of events in our planners. Love these pens.
Also a few colors are missing from the pack in the pictures (navy blue, pumpkin, grey, & black). They're stashed away in my bag (expect the navy).

Definitely Bleeds Through When Coloring - Shadows When Writing
I love these pens. I've used them for years. This pack is a deal at $33 for 36 pens considering the stores charge your $24 for 12 sometimes. This pack, as the Candy Pop 36 pack, has every color of pen EXCEPT regular green and sky blue. I find this to be bizarre as they could easily fit those two colors in and sell a 38 pack. Who doesn't want regular green? Sky blue is similar to surfs up, but they are different. Also, there are people saying in the QA section that these don't bleed through paper as it is stated in the description. I don't know what paper they are using, but most colors create at least a shadow. I just colored with the scuba dive pen in one of my adult coloring books and it definitely bled through. If there had been a picture on the back of the page, it would have been ruined. As for bleeding through when you are just writing in a notebook, it's more of a shadow than a bleed unless you make heavy bullet points. It doesn't keep me from using both sides of the paper. I gave 4 stars because it's missing two key colors and because saying these don't bleed is technically a lie.

Waste of money
I bought the 24 Pack, Candy Pop colors. I intended to use them for coloring. I did not like the colors at all -- they were blah. Also, the actual pen color on the outside is way off from what it looks like on paper. The colors do not complement each other. One of the purples, which is a dark purple, is so dark a purple that it looked like black when I colored with it. Worst of all, I had about 3 that were just plain dried out and didn't color at all, and then 2 more that colored for a tiny bit and then dried out. If you like true vibrant colors, do not buy these, not to mention the quality being poor with many dried out.

Great for kids homework projects
My daughter uses these pens for homework assignments, we had a mix of about 12 of these pens, and many of them are getting worn out.
So we needed to replace a few and found this set of 24 pieces, my first thought is they are expensive, but they last for years if you keep the caps on so they are really worth it.
Pros: Good colors, last a long time, great price compared to local office store
Cons: lots of light colors in the mix
5 stars for all of those homework projects my kids do....
