Umbrella came in a timely manner. Really liked the color and the working mechanism seems to be well made. Material is a bit thin but average for polyester. Only had it for a week so time will tell on how it holds up. Overall am happy with purchase.

Great for the price
Great for the price, as long as you're not moving the umbrellas around a lot like we are at our auto repair shop, the poles should last! Really great coverage and rain protection.

Crank is easy to use
Got the umbrella for summer use. Try to open it today. Crank is easy to use. It opens up big and provides alot of shades. I have being using a beach umbrella for summer BBQs, this is a big upgrade for us. I have to find a base for it now.

Just what we needed
This umbrella is just what we needed. We had one last year that was wooden and it broke due to high winds. We went with this one because of the metal pole. I love the size of this umbrella it shades half of our deck and can’t wait to be sitting under it while the kids swim. The color is deep enough to make it not overbearing. It’s easy to crank up even my 4 year can do it.
The fabric could be a little thicker but for the the money it is perfect.

Seems to be good quality but fades quickly
This is an update. I know better than to review something after only a couple of weeks. After we’ve had the umbrella open for about a month the red fabric is no longer red and no longer matches our furniture pads. It has faded to a pink or light purple color. Other than that, it’s good.

It came in a small, long box. Well packaged. I got the blue one because I didn't want to block out all the sun light. The steel tubing feels very thin and light. But, I am not complaining. I know this is a thirty some dollar umbrella. It cranks easily to open/close. I will take good care of it. If it last one year, I'm happy with it.

Not with one star.
Awful. Ripped off. The wind came up so I closed the umbrella. The next morning I went out and there were prices of it laying on the ground. I used it for about an hour. Don’t waste your money.

Solid umbrella, great look and durable feel.
I bought this about a week ago and we've had sunny days, windy days and rainy days so I thought I'd share my thoughts on this very good umbrella. First off it feels very solid and heavy which I like. It fits my table very well although I think I might need to get a base for it to stand up straight as the table it's on is very lightweight. When the wind caught the umbrella one morning it drug the table over with it and I realized I needed to close it up when not using it because the wind here id unpredictable. But despite that the umbrella help up well and wasn't damaged at all. Everything seems well built and solid and I like the vibrant color. Raising and lowering it is easy with the hand crank and the tilt mechanism is a metal button at the top which seems to be attached to a very solid hinge. Another reason for a base is that with the umbrella titled it needs a heavier table or base to keep it stable but I'd rather have a heavy duty umbrella that holds up than a cheaper one.

Great umbrella that’s inexpensive!
So far so good. I’ve had it a week and it looks nice. Not the *best* quality but it’s a great umbrella for under $30. I’ll be interested to see how it holds up over time. The sticker on the handle is backwards showing which way to crank it ....to raise up or down ....but other than that I have no complaints so far.

Up date not happy
Umbrella broke at the tilt hinge not less than a month old. Will not lock in upright position, keeps flopping over. Top stays in tilted position. As I stated below when I left the original review that I hoped this one lasted as long as my other. It failed. I am back to square one.
I purchased this umbrella 5 years ago from a local company and it held up very well till this season. The bolt that controls the tilting section broke and I could not find a replacement or anything to keep the head from tilting. Everything else on the umbrella was fine. Even the rope and cranky system was excellent. The umbrella stayed out in the elements from Spring to Fall each year and took a beating. The only thing I had to replace each year was the fabric canopy. Just think, if this didn't have a tilting hinge, I wouldn't have had to purchase a new one. This umbrella seems to be well made. I hope
I am frugal and hated to part with my money but had to get another one and if I get 5 years out of this new umbrella it's money well spent.
