Only have it for 1 day, but so far I'm pretty impressed by it with such low price tag.
Very solid. The curved edge and the curved glass give the phone a high quality look. In hand it's quite a bit lighter than it seems. They also took out the "BLU" logo on the front, which gave it a cleaner look. There is no way for others to tell it's a sub-$200 phone at all!
The large 6 inch screen looks clear with good color and contrast. The 720x1440 resolution may sounds low in comparison to other phones, but seriously it's really hard to see a noticeable difference compare to my wife's iPhone 8 plus. Most Youtube are only 720 anyway :P
One thing I really like is you can dim the screen to a very reasonable level to read in dark. My old BLU R1HD and LG G4 were all too bright even at the lowest level.
Has Time Lapse, Beauty Video, Video, Photo, Beauty (photo), Portrait, and Panorama camera features built in. I played with their portrait mode feature (yes, portrait mode with single camera) a bit and compare again with my wife's iPhone 8 plus. Sometimes the algorithm would make poor judgement around the edges and make it unnatural. Also, since it calculates base on facial recognition, if you are holding something it may be classified as background and get blurred.
Other than that, I took a few shots around the house and the other shooting modes look pretty good.
Other random thoughts:
-The phone comes very clean in terms of pre-installed junk apps. It has a few from BLU but that's it.
-BLU included a silicon case and a glass protector, which is a very nice touch. I personally probably wouldn't bother with any protection for a budget phone like this. ($10 case for a $129 phone? no way)
-Performance is pretty good with its Snapdragon 425. It my main reason to choose this over the Vivo XL3 at the same price, which has the MediaTek processor.
After 2 weeks of use I have a few things to add:
-Finger print sensor works really well most of the time. Unlocks the phone within a second. I do notice if I lock the phone with the camera app or some other game app it takes several seconds to boot up, though.
-The phone is slippery! The nice finish on the back also means your fingers have no traction. I almost drop it several times during my first day. This also explain why they include a silicon case... It really fixed the problem.
-Camera is really really good. I'd say it's comparable to other flagship phones that's 5x the cost.
-Battery life is very satisfactory. Its 3000mAh could last me 1+ day with moderate gaming, picture taking, and web browsing easily.
-Still very happy with the screen. I was showing a picture on my phone to my dad who owns a iphone 7, and he was impressed with the clarity and color of my phone and felt it's better than his iphone.
-Forgot to mention about BLU's complimentary 1 year warranty. The phone prompts me to sign up when I first set up the phone, which is very nice.

So far so good. the build quality is excellent especially from this price point. you get all the necessary accessories in the box. oh did i mention this comes with the 3.5mm headphone jack?! thank god! im not using this for gaming or my daily driver, this is a more than capable back up cellphone that can take decent pictures in well lit environment just dont expect it to perform flagship quality camera shots. remember this is an entry level cellphone, but for it's quality it can easily be considered a mid range device bar for the mediocre chipset sd 425. but as i've stated, this is not for gaming, and for its uses it is more than enough. browsing, youtube, netflix, mini games that doesn't tax the cpu/gpu. For 129$ it's a steal IMO.
p.s. i noticed this only uses a 1 band wifi, it doesn't detect my 5g wifi network, i can only connect to my 2.4g wireless at home. is this the case? im looking at its manual and spec sheet it doesn't state it anywhere.

Good build quality, nice 720 screen
I just got this phone this morning. The build quality is far beyond what I expected. I was going to use it as my backup phone, however it's almost capable to be used as my daily driver. Yes, it's speed isn't fast by any mean, but the screen doesn't look like a 720 display indeed. As others mentioned it doesn't support 5GHz WiFi, so keep it in mind.
Update April 17th 2018:
After 3 days use, here are what I like:
1. The texture of power button is so satisfied, I don't why this tiny spot could impress me so bad, but I really like it even more than my primary S9
2. The 720 display is so much more than I expected. I have an honor 5x with 1080 display, and it looks so pixelated. Oddly, this display looks far more superior.
3. The weight, the feeling holding in hand does translate to build quality but the weight does not. However I started noticing I like my device weight less when I pick it up and also put in my pocket
4. Battery life, 3Ah serves me very well
What I don't like:
1. Micro-USB, come on it's 2018. My Nessus 6p released in 2015 uses USB-C, how much you can save from this? I wish I can pay extra $10 to get a USB-C version, seriously
2. lack of wireless charging. Don't get me wrong, I don't use this feature at all because extra heat shortens battery life. However without the coil at the back, I have to put a steel sticker at the back for my car mount which doesn't like nice. And I don't like a phone case especially for a cheap phone
Update April 21th 2018:
This morning, the phone was refuse to wake up when I pressed the power button while it was charging overnight, although I still could hear my music from the earbuds. After a force reboot (volume down+power), the phone showed the white Blu boot screen, then completely dead no matter what I did to it. Talked to BTA-MALL customer service, they offered no help but another phone number to Blu support. I am going to return it and get a 2nd chance. I remember a pre-loaded app I removed instantly mentioned about ~$25 insurance. I never bought a phone insurance before, but will consider if it is necessary. Hopefully I was just unlucky, and it won't happen again on my 2nd purchase. Finger crossed.
Update April 30th 2018:
I have seen some comments below regarding to the update of my issue. Unfortunately like I said, I returned it instead of trying to deal with Blu's customer support. I kinda regret what I did for 2 reasons: 1st I wasted a chance to see if the issue could be fixed without a physical repair, and 2nd the unit I bought again has lower battery capacity. In my AccuBattery app, the 1st unit shows around 3200mah capacity which is even higher than my S9, I popped my SIM card into it as my daily driver and S9 just became my gameboy. I don't know if AccuBattery is accurate, but I can surely tell I'm getting worse battery life.
The Blu help app offers insurance program for $25 for 2 years, it doesn't sound too bad but I haven't pulled the trigger yet since BTA-MALL gives 30 days return window.
I have used this unit for a week, so far so good. The battery degradation is disappointed, but it still holds up well to be honest. I went to BestBuy recently, and the closest mid-range phone having same build quality and feeling in hand I can find is Huawei Mate SE which costs $250. I still think this phone is a good buy as long as it's not turning into a brick.

2 weeks in, not bad at all
Got this phone a little over two weeks ago, and am pleased at the performance for the price.
Don't compare this to a Galaxy s9 or iPhone X, that's not fair at all. The Blu Vivo XL3 plus is a fantastic budget device that stacks up well against any $199 or less phone on the market.
Battery life is amazing
Runs Android 7.1.2 out of the box
Screen is nice
Bottom speaker is loud enough
Camera is weak unless under optimal conditions
Have had no issues at all with day to day usage. Web, email, calls (At&t), text, YouTube, Hulu, music streaming, Facebook.
Need a large, cheap phone? I recommend this one

Best budget phone EVER!!
I purchased this phone as a backup phone. My main phone is an iPhone X, I had a Moto X Plus but it got damaged from going swimming. I am 1000% satisfied with the BLU VIVO XL3 Plus. It is my first BLU product. I have no complaints about this phone, I got it for $140.00. One thing my I love about having this phone, I can get all of my mod android games and download music with it.. Unlinke the sleek, pretty, sometimes useless iPhone X! LOL!

I love my phone and there really is ZERO reason to ...
This is my third Blu and I'll never go back to buying anything else. These phones have all the bells and whistles and work flawlessly. I love my phone and there really is ZERO reason to buy a 1,000.00 phone...this is for morons as far as I'm concerned. I truly have better things to do with that kind of money! If you use your phone as much as I do you need something reliable and this is it.the inky bad thing is you can't take out the damn battery. My first Blu allowed that and it lasted 2 1/2 years because of that....once Blu started locking down the battery the phones die about a year and a half later. But even with that draw back it's still better than most phones.

Nice phone, unbeatable price
Just received. It is light weight. Screen is sharp and no ad. Two sim cards and one SD card slots. 13mp rear and 16mp front. Turn on needs longer time than other mobile phone. But the price can't be beat.

I'm pretty happy with this phone
I'm pretty happy with this phone. It does everything I want it to do and I could afford to buy it without making payments or having to sign a long term cell phone contract. It's definitely worth the price point for me.

Gotta say this is a pretty good phone so far
Gotta say this is a pretty good phone so far. Good battery life, decent camera and decent speaker. 18:9 screen is a nice display. Not full HD but it gets the job done. Ram management is doing good so far also. Definite benefits with this purchase are the free case and headphones. Not the best but a plus for both. Gonna buy another for a back up. Maybe there will some more options cases or skins soon.

The phone looks and feels great. The screen is good
I bought this as a back up phone since I don't usually carry insurance on my main phone. The phone looks and feels great. The screen looks pretty good for being 720p. I put the XL3+ side by side with my wife's Galaxy S8+ and the form factor was nearly the same. I quickly installed nova launcher and set the phone up to my liking and I have to say it's been awesome so far. I'm not sure how they offer it at this price. I might buy another before the price is supposed to jump up.
